Oxygen magazine is looking for a full-time nutrition editor to cover a one-year maternity leave, starting in December. If you live for food, can define the difference between micro- and macro nutrients, are aware of the latest research and developments in nutrition and dieting protocols and are obsessively compulsive about nutrition facts, particularly regarding fit women, this job is for you.



To state the obvious: Please look at our magazine before applying.





Qualifications:

• knowledge of current nutrition trends for fit women
• knowledge of cutting edge research, or how to find it
• nutritional values and nutritional breakdown of food for women
• familiarity with meal plans/recipe development
• ability to conceptualize nutrition features/recipe features
• great contacts in the food industry (registered dieticians, sports nutritionists, recipe developers, etc.)
• experience coordinating food photo shoots
• ability to work with contributors/assign articles
• adherence to deadlines
• impeccable time management skills
• 2-3 years magazine experience
• strong writing/editing skills
• engaging personality
