If you look toward the end of the ACE Personal Trainer Manual (which I hope you have), it shows a breakdown of what percentage of the test is spent on each area of knowledge (anatomy, program design, legal issues, etc.). That should give you an idea of how MANY questions on the test will be devoted to each area. But I agree with what J-P said - you should know as much as possible about the anatomy. Having said that, I admit it's my weak spot. Also, from my recollection, the ACE Personal Trainer test really only addresses anatomy at a basic level. In my practice, especially with older adults who have old injuries, joint problems, disc degeneration, or other issues, I am constantly referring back to my Human Anatomy textbook. (THis one I bought AFTER my ACE exam, as I felt I needed further grounding in anatomy beyond what ACE requires).
Anyway, like I said, you can find the breakdown for the exam toward the end of the manual - or maybe even online at ACE's website.
