Default At Jean-Paul about NFPT exam

Hello Again! I will be taking my NFPT-CPT exam this weekend in Atlanta. Have been waiting to do this for over a year and have been really studying hard for the last 2 weeks. A little anxious as I hear the new exams a harder than ever. Any last minute pointers or advice? Any special areas you think I need emphasis in more than others? Thanks for anything you can say, or anyone else out there who has taken it as well!! Griff.

It is a bit harder now. Really know your anatomy and physiology. This version is pretty heavy on it. Re-read your chapters on metabolic processes, make-up of the muscle, etc. Go outside the book for your anatomy. It doesn't cover everything that is on the test. There is some "assumed basic knowledge" in this test, especially where anatomy is concerned.

Don't be anxious. If you are prepared, then just go in and kick ass!

Thank you Jean-Paul and I did just that!!! I scored an 88! I am just really glad that the exam is behind me now and very happy because this opens up a whole new chapter in my life.
Thanks for the encouragement. Griff.

So what is your plan Griff? You turned the page on a new chapter. Give us the table of contents... Where are you going to be in a year? 5 years?

In 5 years he sees himself at the helm of JP-Griff Fitness Enterprises

Sorry JP and GQ. I wish I know how to cut and paste on a forum! I have just been kinda decompressing after the exam. I am however going through the initial phases of putting my resume together. I am not GETTING burned out. I AM BURNED OUT! I am ready to keep people from having to come into places like where I work, (a family and sports medicine practice).
Initially I know I will need to work for an established facility until I can go it alone. Eventually, I definitely would like to work for myself, at least for the most part. There are a couple of privately owned personal training places here where I live and I am going to look into them at first.

I will talk more later, I have some patients waiting patiently for me! Thanks, Griff.
