How tall are you?

I'm 5"10, and pretty much agree with that, 198s you can be really lean, but at 220 you'll be a bit soft - unless you juice up, or are pretty tall.

I don't like the idea of moving to 220's, or 242's, but I think that is where my lifting may take me in the future...

I'm 5'9 and I think powerlifting wise 250-260lbs is where I need to be at. Im near 250 right now.

health/athletic wise for me is around 215-220lbs.

I seriously have developed a weird gut though. If I push it out it looks like im 6 months pregnant. Obviously 90% of it is fat, but my top 2 abs stick out from it and its weird as hell. power gut for the win.

Big midsection = big squat

I know that if I got up to 275-280lbs I would be stronger. Its very tempting but I think my health would be a mess at that weight. I could care less about weight classes if I could squat a grand haha.

Lol, if you went to 275 i reckon you'd squat a grand. So do it!

I choose lean and athletic : Ript Abz!

As for me, I'll spend another 2-3 years at 181, and then 5 or so years at 198, then probably move to 220.

Yeah weight gain doesn't help my pull. I pulled 628 @ 198 and have only managed 666lbs @ 242 so far.

I don't mind having a bigger midsection as long as its not sticking out past my chest and pants lol. I wear size 34 waste pants usually.. 32 when i was leaner.

when doing cardio my strength also dropped, likely had to do with weight loss though.
