load up that sled! I know you can pull more than that.
it was pretty hard to get started, but once it was moving it wasnt to bad

Its hard to judge the depth I find, i'll keep working at them though

When I do sled or chain drags, I get a good hard pull initially with all my BW, and then as soon as it starts moving, lots of quick choppy steps. The key is to just keep it going, and don't let it stop or you're screwed. I did an easy 600lb drag this way. Like you said, it's not too bad when you get used to it.

- sled drag was waaay easier than last week, i was running with it. I did have grippier shoes than last week on which helped a bit to get it statred
yeah, thats hot. my gym doesnt have AC and last summer it was close to 30C in the gym.. After deadlifts there was like 2 inches of sweat on the ground and I went through a hell of a lot of chalk. Way to get through it. Ill take the cold over the heat for training anyday.

its weird it didnt feel too hot (must be getting used to it, this is the 3rd week of it)
and even weirder is that I didnt sweat as much as I usually do, theres normally puddles on the ground, maybe the sweat evaporated straight off me
next week its meant to be a lot cooler 23C (73F), i cant wait
Yeah im sure you adapted somewhat. I went to Moab Utah like 2 years ago and it was right around 40C for the week I was there. The last couple days you dont notice it near as much.
Still, remind me not to move to austrailia. I hate heat. I'm debating moving to the Yukon (right beside alaska) actually.. I dont think it gets to 35 degrees there.
it only gets ridiculously hot like this for a week or two over summer, its colder more of the year than hot here in Canberra, ill be bitching about winter soon enough

- thinking about doing 10x10 squats tomorrow, make these skinny legs grow, and get my pathetic squat up somehow
i may not be able to walk after though
- wasnt sure what weight to use, so started with the girliest amount i could. Didnt really get shaky legs, so it was obviously too light. Though it was still tough, the last few sets were prettty quick, I wanted them finished.
