yeah ive played around with it.. it may not be ideal in some ways (no overspeed eccentric) but for me it works.
I perfer conventional pulling more. It also gives me far more mass if you are concerned with that.

Nice benching.

Nice job on the deads. I can't imagine that 1" makes a whole lot of difference in the numbers (if any). Once you hit 600, I bet your bench takes off. What are you doing to hammer the lats?

Hey, you're still pulling from the upper shin, so 520 still's a good pull.

you may feel weaker initially on a diet, but your body will adapt to it in a few weeks.
plus, it's always better to be leaner (note, i didn't say smaller... just leaner).

Just wanted to say good luck on your fat loss quest - going to be interesting to see how your lifts go when you're eating in a deficit.

when i set up reverse bands i like there to be a very low amount of tension at the top of the lift (like 5lbs..) I find if all the tension is gone that the bands deload completely and the lifts feel funny.

thats what i thought i read haha.. keep the tension on the bar throughout the lift and it will feel much smoother, you wont get a sudden jolt of heavy weight.
