well if your going to squat that narrow you should get into some oly lifting shoes. Also try breaking with your hips first and really sitting back into the suit. Youll get more out of the suit and will probably be more stable. Also things will be less shaky once you get use to heavy weights. If you want put a mini band around your knees to make you concentrate on keeping them out. Also if you point your toes outward it helps activate the hips during hte squat and keeps the knees out
I am going to squat in gear again this weak on Friday to get more practice time in.......Does anyone see any negatives about doing this?
bigD is right that it is taxing.. but ive done it in the past before for months with no problems. I do it with bench when getting close to a contest as well.

freak.... I mean i guess its worth a try no way in hell i could do it atleast for very long
on the squat, you need to get comfortable in the suit and sit back more. my girlfriend is having the exact same issue with her suit (its the same suit, too), and ive had the problem before.
I would do some high box squats for a warmup in the suit concentrating on sitting very far back on the box, also rotate your toes out more.
You are trying to get depth by moving your knees forward rather then bringing your hips down. You need to open up your groin as well and get down. You may not even need all that much weight on the bar to practice this.

I wasn't maxing out or anything. The only thing i noticed is that I was drained after ME workouts, but after a nap I was fine.
I was actually doing something like this at one point:
squat day 1: reverse band squats with over 1rm for reps
squat day 2: regular band squats with 400lbs of tension
I feel like im dying over here. Stomach is rock hard and hurts like a mother fucker. Burp every 5 minutes got a headache. Chill add to the fun havent eaten shit today. Dry heave once an hour. Chills to boot. GOD
