For the first time in the shirt, you shouldn't be able to touch if its as tight as you claim. I think if you can get it too a 2 board you are doing pretty good.

Usually it takes me 3 sessions in a new shirt to touch..
w1: 3 board, maybe a single off 2 board
w2: 3 board, 2 board, maybe 1 or 1.5 board
w3: 1 board, try to touch

Ah okay, I'll keep that in mind, Thanks Frank.

In my experience fury/f6 only take 1-2, max 3 sessions to break in though, but I've never worn a shirt this tight so we will see!

Lolz, the shirt was ridiculous, the breast plate was seriously like 4 inches wide! Got it on, and I couldn't even get my hands out to the rings on the bar, shoulders were pushed forward, and I couldn't move my shoulders back, or elbows out at all. I tried a close grip press with 110kg, moved it a tiny ass bit, and nearly dropped it ha!

I've got a new 40 on the way.

20kg x 10
65kg x 3

CG 3-Book Press
95kg x 3
115kg x 1

Comments:
-Felt fucked as, as was working all day doing labouring work before this, didn't seem to affect my strength, although shoulders and elbows were a bit sore
-Will go 140kg for 1-2 reps next week
-New shirt coming this week, will test it Saturday. With how well I've been doing on the book work I should do pretty well, will probably have a crack at a 150kg bench press.

I'm thinking of doing smolov again in December after my competition. I might be able to get somebody to do it with me, meaning I'm much more inclined to do it. I entered 200kg into the calculator, and took 15kg off all of the figures for the smolov base mesocycle:

Compare this to the smolov cycle I did in December of 2008(I took 5-7.5 off each number):

And what the program said to do:

I think smolov works best if you just put your 2-3 rep max into the calculator.. I am not to sure what you did, but it looks pretty similar.

smolov for 3 weeks is for pussies, do it for 2-3 months like me.

Got my new shirt today, a 40 f6. It's blue! I've never had a blue piece of equipment before!

Also picked up a pair of max RPM wrist wraps, in green. Not mine though, I just picked up the stuff for everyone at the club.

12/09/09 Saturday

Bench Press new 40 f6
65kg x 4
95kg x 2
110kg x 1
130kg x 1
140kg x 1
145kg x 1 touch
150kg x 1 PR**

Rope Face Pulls
80lbs x 20(2 sets)

Comments:
-** head came up on the 150kg, so it wouldn't pass in comp. I should be able to fix that easy though.
-150kg was just as hard to touch as 145kg, which was pretty damn hard, no belt too. Shirt will loosen up a bit, and I'll be alot lighter on comp day too.

Aha, the Smolov stuff is in here!

Can you tell me, why do you take things off the numbers?
(If "god" meant us to have the numbers lower, wouldn't he have made them lower himself?)...ok maybe I will really have to try this myself before talking like this lol

And do I understand correctly, you want to go down 4 kg in one week now?

I disagree with that,in fact I would also like to see you do other poses, like the one I am doing in my ava

4 kg in one week that's a huge amount, if I want to I can maybe loose 2 kg in a week but don't know if I even lift properly after that (guess not). So I am curious, how do you plan to manage that?
