gear helps the deadlift pretty minimally when you are conventional. Ive heard rumors of guys getting 50lbs.. but I don't believe them I can pull 600lbs any day i want, and 661lbs with a suit was no joke life in the contest.

I just thought I remembered a conversation about him pulling close to 5 a while back.
I got 100 out of mine :p
Doubt I can do that again though.

My own stuff, based on a template my coached developed. I can email it to you if you want.

I think I could do well over 500 raw, have done 250kg suited, I think I could do 230+ raw, I probably get 10-20kg from the suit.

You did NOT get 100lbs

I just had the worst training session of my life, last nights benching was terrible

29/05/09 Friday

Bench Press
20kg x 10
65kg x 6
85kg x 3
105kg x 1
120kg x F
120kg x F
105kg x 3 F on 4th
105kg x 2

Band Pullaparts
purple x 20(3 sets)

Lat Pulldown
120lbs x lots
140lbs x lots(2 sets)

Comment:
-Well, I'm about 10kg from my best in the bench(best raw 125kg), this sucks bigtime
A few possibilities:
-I'm guessing my shitty diet of 2 meals a day with hardly any protein, doing it as cheap as I can, has finally caught up with me.
-Am about 2-2.5kgs lighter than i was when I did 125kg
-Had only eaten a pie that entire day
-Sore abs from wednesday
-training cycle may have been to ambitious, may have been fatigued from the past few weeks sessions
-fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! This has sapped alot of my motivation for nationals now

nah, your deadlift failed b/c of conjugate (i.e. working up to a max single on the front squat a few days before a heavy deadlift).

31/05/09 Sunday

Squat
20kg x 10
65kg x 6
110kg x 4
145kg x 2

Comments:
-Didn't go for a big single this week, bit unsure of my strength right now after fridays benching. Repped out 147.5kg very easily though, so who knows, maybe my squat is fine, just bench affected.

Yep it's different, I wasn't studying or receiving payments on feb 3, but it says I should get it anyway - guy at uni told me that aswell, his brother got it last week, so i should get it tomorrow I guess, with my regular payment. Most courses start in march anyway, so most people willbe in the same boat.

07/06/09 Sunday

Squat
20kg x 10
65kg x 6
110kg x 4
145kg x 2
175kg x 1
200kg x F
155kg x 6(4 sets) PR

BB Rows
65kg x 6
110kg x 6(3 sets) PR

GHR's
BW x 15
BW x 10(2 sets)

Comments:
-200kg was close! Almost got it past the point where you think "fuck yes I've got it". Would have definitely got this with a belt, but I'll just wait until next cycle and give it another crack fully raw, I should get it. Also 2-2.5kgs lighter than last time I maxed.
-Reps were pretty solid, had heaps left in the tank - 155kg is three 22.5kg plates, finally I had 3 plates on the bar for work sets lol!
