I benched on the 1st of May, but somehow forgot to post that session... hit a single of 107.5, and did 92.5 for 4x6. no point posting it now I think.

Yesterdays benching:

09/05/09 Friday

Bench Press
20kg x 10
65kg x 6
87.5kg x 6(3 sets)

3-Book Press
105kg x 4
110kg x 4

Rope Face Pulls
60lbs x 20(2 sets)

Comment:
-Felt weak as shit shit today
-Skipped last set of benching, and cut out most assistance work
-Couldn't sleep night before, felt a bit sick, abs had been very sore(still sore now on sunday)
-Weighed myself sat night on a friends wii, 83.5kg with full clothing after a decent dinner, I'm probably under 82 in the morning, naked... If i somehow get below 78 at any time, I'll then make the cut to 75kg class, steal a few jr records...

BB Rows
65kg x 6
100kg x 6(3 sets)

GHR's
BW x 15(2 sets)

Comments:
-Felt alot better than yesterday, abs still sore from wednesday
-Smashed it today, almost like a speed weight
-Last weeks squats sets was actually 120x6x4 I think, not 125x8x4 - well, it was supposed to be anyway, and i think i did do that

NG Seated Cable Row
90kg x 10(3 sets)

DB Rows
115lbs x 15(2 sets)

Comments:
-Came into the gym feeling weak and tired
-Managed to switch on, and have a good session once i started my sets of deadlifting, managed to get them really fast
-I just realised why DB rows seem a bit harder thic cycle -- I'm now doing them after deadlifts and cable rows haha, so my back and grip is shot before i get to them, I now remember I did this on purpose, as my gyms DB's are too light
-Grip was giving out on the second sets of DB rows
-I'm hoping i manage to borrow some cash to get me to the nationals, its just pending on the money now, i think ill need to borrow 500-600!

Comments:
-Shit session today, 115kg was the worst missgroove I've ever had on a raw bench, presed it straight towards my stromach, and had to slowly pull it back lol
-Pissed that i couldn't get 4x6 with 100kg
-Been pretty tired lately, 3 hour nap yesterday, 2 hour nap today - just collapsed when i got home last 2 days, that's probably it. I think I'll keep the same numbers next time, and make sure i get all the reps

So I had another drug test, less than 3 weeks from my last one. Got urine and blood taken this time, first time I have had blood drawn in my 19 years actually! It wasn't terrible, just slightly unpleasant, but I don't think I'd like a full 470mL blood donation done!

Anyway, 2 tests in 3 weeks, I think I've just cost the government like $1500 or so

I hope the hotel throws in a masseuse and a happy ending for that price.

General straining I guess,

its at the back of the neck, in the middle, some muscle kinda deep in there has been sore since saturday. It doesn't feel like anything bad though.

I think its from pushing my head into the bench and straining, or maybe from straining to look at the bar on the way down, not sure.

My neck hurts from benching all the time, just driving it into the bench I figure.

I'm still kinda tired today, after having a 4.5 hour nap yesterday afternoon lol.

6 assignments and 3 exams coming up in the next few weeks, but then I get 19th june to 27 july off uni, so a good 5 week break or so!

Finally some real weights.
I can read your log now without feeling like I've suddenly lost strength.

I thought you pulled almost 500 raw.
