-The sets at 110kg were harder than I thought they would be, probably due to the big singles beforehand

Ok, I won't have as much time to post here for a while, I'll still come and post in this log and check a couple of other logs, but for now that's about it.

I got my car this week, got kicked out of home this week, and start university tomorrow. I'll be busy looking for a place to live, at uni, training, and trying to find a new job before I go broke!

The car runs sweet though

Damn, Simon.... well, at least if you have to wrestle the homeless guy on the corner for his cardboard box you'll probably triumph.

Good luck with all the stuff....

Comments:
-Very strong session, lower back was feeling a bit of soreness when deadlifting with only bottoms, was fine with straps up
-lower back slightly sore during squats too today, been having a bit of this lately, doesnt seem to affect lifting, maybe its not lfiting related
-Trained with a guy today who would have like 33" quads, who was struggling to do 4 reps on 210kg, cant remember if he managed to do a set without hitching lol - this guy would squat 230-240 raw though i reckon. Man it would suck, to suck at deadlifts...

As for other stuff, I've started uni, it's good. Just at some internet place now for a couple hours, the shit place im staying at doesnt have internet!

I spun out my car on my birthday lol, went off the road buy maybe 3 metres, down a hill a bit, lucky I didn't hit a tree or roll down into the river lol. Blew 1 tyres, and got 1 scratch on the car haha, no other damage so decided to get 4 new tyres while I was at it - got them today. The tyres feel weird as hell, spongy steering, I'm told this is normal for new tyres like these, and that after a couple hundred kms the layer of crap brand new tyres have on them wears off and its fine.

Training is going great as you can see, I'm looking on track for hitting my numbers of a 245/250 squat, 140/145 bench, and 250/256 deadlift, I should clean up at the comp lol.

I still need to start earning some money, as I'll be broke soon if I don't. This is a bit of a problem lol...

Well they are phone books, so a bit thicker than a board. How thick is a standard board?

I'll measure how thick the books im using now are, when I remember.

I bench 125kg raw, I'm aiming for 150kg shirted up in my comp in april 4th But I'm using a tighter shirt this time so maybe I can get more out of it.

that like 50lbs! learn the shirt better and you will get 100-150lbs carryover easy.

my training partner lifts in the ipf on occasion, raw is 140kg if hes lucky, hes looking to press 210kg in the conetest in a single ply katana.

its a 2x6 usually.. usually measure about 1.5inches per board.

ive seen phone books which are near a 3 board by themselves.. and other that are 1 board, so who knows.

I actually use a 0.5m longer wrap in training and use the excess to tie them with a knot at the end rather then wrapping them under a tight rotation. The extra length wrap allows for it to feel the same as regular wraps at a meet, but its 10x easier to wrap.

PS - sets of 4 with the straps up? can you hit depth on all of them? sounds like you need tighter gear lol.
