Hey alco, we're doing a weightlifting workshop at my college in March. You should come!
Spend a weekend learning the o-lifts and some of their accessory lifts.

Do you have class on those days?

So, I'm going to Sydney on the 15th. Powerlifting Australia is flying me up there for free, for a meeting. There's a competition up there on the day, so I get to watch a meet, go to this meeting, and spend a day there for free!

I've been years ago when I was little, it's about 1-2 hours flight I believe, or a 10 hour drive.

31/01/09 Saturday

Bench Press
20kg x 10
65kg x 6
85kg x 4
95kg x 1
105kg x 1
95kg x 6(4 sets)

2-Book Press
110kg x 6(2 sets)

Lat Pulldown
180lbs x 12(3 sets)

Comments:
-This was yesterday now, chest is fairly sore from the benching
-I'm getting alot stronger on the pulldowns, 140lbs for 12 used to be a struggle!
-Noticed today that my feet are uneven when setting up, but it feels even to me, and when it's even, it feels uneven... Crap, better fix this!

With a 418 single you can move more than this. Taking it easy?

he's not taking it easy... it's the way his training is set up. He ramps it up closer to the meet.

Well in a 12 week cycle like this, weeks 1-6 are easy, and below my rep PR's for the main lifts. Weeks 7-12 are PR's - for the squat and dead anyway, for the bench I'm trying something different, a wave cycle that doesn't really get hard until the last few weeks.

Last week of raw 6's will be 150kg in 2-3 weeks time.

I was just teasing him, MindPower.

Simon, don't you feel like you have to hold back some? I mean don't you get to six reps and think 'well I could do six more, but that's not written in the program'?

The real question is, is it even a training session if you dont break any blood vessels? I vote no.

So I trained today, will post that later.

Also kinda had a crash today, not sure if it qualifies as a crash though - front right tyre blew, spun out onto kerb where the rear right tyre then also blew, barely any damage to the car at all.

I have to take the train to the gym tomorrow... FUCK!!!
