Not eating for an entire day before the meet doesn't effect your strength/energy levels at all?

I'd be fucked over the entire next day.

my plan is for a 24 hour weigh in..

with a 2 hour weigh in, cutting weight is not the hard part - getting it back up is. i would put alot of focus on that. find things that bloat you up.

It doesn't really affect me at all I found, I'm not losing that much weight.

I'm not even hungry or thirsty after the weigh in, no need to gain back a useless 2kgs.

I'll just drink some water, eat some bread or a banana, maybe have some sort of juice to get a bit of sugar in me. I'm not too worried about that really. Just keep blood sugar levels at a good level throughout the day and I'll be fine.

My plan is to eat normally.
I'll probably have my last meal around 9-10pm before going to bed. Have a nice big breakfast before weighing in at 7:30. Then another nice meal before lifting begins at 9:30.
Some sandwiches throughout the day, if I have time between lifts.

I feel bad for you guys.

Meh, small difference.

I train squats and benches in the morning anyway. I weighed myself before a squat session 2 weeks ago and I was 82.60kg. Aslong as I don't lose too much weight, 1.1kgs won't make a difference.

I'm heavier at night when i deadlift, so there will be more of a difference there, meh, no biggie though. My deadlift suit is really loose anyway and it pulls up pretty high, its only the straps that give me support anyway, so being lighter won't make a difference.

I'd rather just feel good and ready, rather than bloated and crap lolz.

Since your not making a weight class, I'd say carb up bigtime the night before, just eat a shitload.

Throughout the day sandwiches would be a good idea, along with some bananas if you like. Obviously don't go eating chocolate and lollies hah, stimulants would probably fuck you up too, maybe something for your last deadlift if you feel shit by then, but I feel good throughout the entire meet.

I'm thinking my favourite pre workout meal, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, for throughout the day. That should keep my energy levels up. Maybe some eggs and oatmeal for breakfast.

I'm also planning to carb up two days before. I figure I'll eat regularly, maybe a few less carbs/more protein up until Thursday, then on Thursday and Friday I'll eat everything.

Sounds like a solid plan Matthew.

Drinking water is easy. I've done over 6 litres so far today, I'll probably get to 8 litres. I'm pissing out heaps now haha.

Weight is down even with all the water, as it's going right through me. Also have barely any food in me, cooked up some of oats with fruit, yogurt, had some of that, will have the rest soon, had a large scoop of ON whey before too. I'll probably just have the rest of the oats, and then some eggs, and that's it for today.

Tomorrow I'll just have tuna, eggs fish, yogurt, peanut butter, and non-starchy vegetables.

Won't eat shit all on Friday as I'll sleep in, and eat my last meal at 7pm. Just vegetables, eggs and fish probably, into 2-3 meals or so before 7pm.

I should be clear under 84kgs tomorrow, as I would have got rid of some intestinal bulk, friday i should be about the same, a little bit less, then I can piss out about 1-2kgs in the afternoon/night.

HA!
My weigh in isn't actually until 12:30. They split us into two groups, I'm in the second. I guess that also means I'm lifting in the afternoon instead of in the morning.

Suhweeeeet.

Wednesdays Food:

9 Litres water
1 heaped scoop ON Whey

In Oats(apparently serves 4, was 2 meals for me):
1 cup oats
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sultanas
1 Large apple
Lots of mixed berries
Lots of yogurt(each bowl smothered with yogurt) - guessing 500-600mL

4 soft boiled eggs
Peanut butter, maybe 100g? I just have a jar and a spoon at my desk haha

Today's(Thursday) Food so far:

Omelette:
4 eggs
185g tuna(in pure olive oil)

Tuna omelette tastes pretty good, I'll make another one on friday with some tomatoes and onions too.

As for the rest of the day, planning to steam some fish with ginger and spring onions. I'll have yogurt and peanut butter to snack on during the day. Will get 9 litres of water again too.

Okay 3:05pm, cut water intake now. Drank 5 600mL bottles since I woke up at 11am, slammed down 2 more just then, no more water now till weigh in.

11am-3pmish atleast 4.2 lites, about 4.5 I think. Not too bad.

Fridays Food:

Big omellete, eaten half now, other half at about 7-8pm:
8 eggs
2 tomatoes
6 mushrooms
1 onion
185g tuna

Weighing in at 86.30kg now, with all the food and water(mostly water haha). Gained 3.85kgs since I woke up lol! Almost 9 pounds!
