Soon you'll be pulling the whole soccer team.

This is the best type of exercise. If more people did general play type activity we'd all be alot healthier.

Looking forward to reading those PR's.

I have the same driveway issue. I think I need to put a piece of old carpet under mine to keep it from scratching up the Earth.
Carpet would work, I moved mine so its just dragging on some dirt now, and I made some modifications and moved the chain so it goes through the tyre instead of under it, the chain was doing most of the damage.
I only wanted to use it on the driveway because it was a bit more private.
I guess I'm just a bit self-conscience of the neighbours watching what I'm doing, I know it's pretty stupid cause I ain't on TV and I'm sure thats what there all watching.

Week 2 - Monday 14th April

Squat
b x 10
60kg x 5
70kg x 5
75 x 5 - was meant to be x 3

85 x 5 x 3 rep PR (187lbs)

Deadlift
60kg x 5
90 x 5 - this felt heavy
110 x 5
120 x 2
130 x 5 - rep PR (287lbs)

Walking Lunge
3 x 60secs
bw x 36 x 3

AB Circuit
Side Bend 3 x 10e x 15kg/eh
Sbag Rotation 3 x 16
Knee tucks 3 x 12

- Squats were tough, form is getting better which is my biggest problem

- Deads felt really easy, the last rep went up pretty quick, but my grip was starting to give.

- Lunges felt good, need to add some weight.

- Ass is a bit sore today (damn lunges), but otherwise I feel pretty good.
Looking forward to benching tonight, for the first time in ages my bench is behind my squat.

Cool picture, and nice progress.

Are these all time PR's? or PR's since you started?

Deads = all time PR's

Squats = Have squatted over 100kg in the past but can't remember and my records are shitty as to what I have done in the past. So were going on my old man memory here and I think there all time PR's but maybe not
But hey, it looks cool and sounds impressive to keep hitting PR's

Week 2 - Tuesday 15th April

Bench
b x 20
60kg x 5
70 x 5
75 x 2

85 x 5 x 2 (187lbs)
85 x 4 -
wasnt confident about the last rep so i stopped

Row - Pendlay
50kg x 8
62.5kg x 8 x 4 (138lbs)
+ little bit of weight

Tricep Extension
30kg x 8 x 3 (66lbs)
+ little bit of weight

Sandbag Clean & Press
1 clean/5 presses
3 x 60secs
30kg (67lbs)
x 5,5,5,5
(+5)
x 5,5,5
(+1)
x 5,5,5
(-)

- bench was ok, probably would have got that last rep but didnt want to risk bad form and death

- rows felt strong for 4 reps, then they got harder

- sandbag presses were easier than last week, might hold off increasing the time for another week though.

- Squats again tonight, legs are still pretty sore so I will probably steal something from Ian's log and go with about 80% of monday night and get my form down.

- Looking forward to the sled drags tonight also,

- and thanks to whoever gave my log a 5 star rating

Sounds like you need a spotter for the bench press. The confidence you get when you have somebody behind you that can easily help you get the bar back into the racks is awesome, no more fear of death or having to roll the bar down your body hah! Just concentrate on the set then.

Don't think a spotter will happen, not until the kids get a lot bigger anyway.
I would love to get a cage, that would solve a lot of problems, confidence included.

Ha this is post 999, never thought I would reach 1000
