hey T, I'm joining you in the shitty mcshittertonfest. I sucked ass today on the track. on pace at the half for 7:15, thought I was still on pace in the third lap, but glanced at my watch and saw I was off, which fucked with my head, I didn't have anyone in my group to pace off, and, well. it sucked. ran three more mile repeats at 30 sec per mile faster than marathon pace and called it a day. sometimes workouts just suck.

Snatched to 50 again. No problem.
CJ: cleaned to 55 no problem. Jerks hurting wrist today, so after 50 kg I got skeered. Much ice ensued after that.

That's it. Off to Baaaawston tomorrow for a conference, so hoping to get in a couple of sessions while I'm out of town.... no cleans for the next several days though. Apparently my wrist issue is the triangular fibrous cartilage which, if I just caught this crap right every time, really wouldn't be an issue. Alas, my snatches are better than my cleans right now, and trying to do a 45kg jerk for a double today really jacked it up.
More fun tomorrow before I leave but just squats and snatches.

OK I'm home. I got NO workouts in. None. Nada. Zip. I'm going insane today, completely bouncing off the walls. I'll be lifting M-F, probably S as well. The meet on Sunday won't be happening b/c my wrist is completely screwed right now, and every time I sleep, I roll over on it and it hurts more now, after five days of rest, than it did last week.
Sorry about the wrist. Although, I've noticed that before, that something won't really start hurting until I'm taking a couple of days off. Doesn't really make sense, but annoying really. You start to think you might as well workout as it seems to hurt more when you don't.
Just got a brace and slept in it last night.... seemed to help, or at least, I didn't wake up hurting from sleeping on it!
I'm gonna see the ortho hand guy and the PT here as soon as I can get a consult in. I really wanted to do the meet this weekend, but I dunno, seems like the risks may outweigh the benefits.
Sn up to 47.5, only made one there and missed 2. Irritating today. Made lots of 45s. Seems to be a comfortable weight for me now, so that's a plus.
Jerks (behind head) up to 60. Not the best jerk ever, but I need to get under some heavy weights again so when I can clean it I won't be afraid to jerk it.
