Soooo GUESS WHAT CAME TODAY?!?!?!?! Uh huh, uh huh... that's right! My beautiful bar, the collars, and the itsy bitsy metal weights. I need to order some 5kg full sizers but I am good to go for Saturday (Leigh has forbidden me to lift anything more than a finger this week---but it's game on Saturday!).
Body comp wise.... it seems that my old bag self really needs more down time than I think. I retain fluid like a mofo otherwise. So, this week, I'm 0.2 lbs below my weigh in for the competition 2 weeks ago... achieved with salt manipulation for that purpose, but consuming a salt lick equivalent daily now. 60kg, here I come (I am not-so-secretly wanting to compete in 58kg class next)!

Here's the finished product--now I just need squat stands and a bar to throw up on them for squats and such and I'm in serious business. Noted today: it gets HOT in the garage, even with the door open. Oh, and dieting sucks. I'm down to 61.9 kg this morning though, so only 1.9 to go until I reassess. It would be nice to live under the weight I want to compete at, but we'll see.
Nice setup. I am envious. One of these days when I have a house, I will have some room for a home gym. In the meantime, I will live vicariously through you guys...lol

Today's workout: damn, I am WEAK after this much down time. All in lbs today; had to work out at 24 hr fitness since I don't have a squat rack yet.

Done. Very long workout on low calories. Very weak and passing out in the squat rack, too. Oh well. It'll come back.
I was going to put on those purty yeller plates buuuuut I had that pesky passing out thing going on again. GAAAAHHHHH. I'll get my groove back within the next couple of workouts; I can feel it. At least I got the weights up a smidge today.
I'd have to say 1200 with training equally sucks, but then the last few days I haven't been training. And even when I am it's certainly not that kind of stuff. whew.
I counted calories once for 3 days, the lowest I managed was something like 1950, 2200 at 2700 for the other days hah. I was sitting on my ass literall 24/7 though.
