Trained again today. Easy technique-based workout...good fun.
Warmups - long warmup today. Here's what I did...
Over / Unders 2x10 each
Hurdle Walks 2x10
Glute Bridge - 2x10
One-leg Glute Bridge 2x5 per side
BSS - 2x10 per side
Clamshells - 2x10 per side
Stretching - lots of different stuff here
Knee raises hanging from a bar (not in those elbow cradle things) - 3x10
Ankle warmups - 3 rounds
Sots Press 3 rounds
Dead hang snatch+hops 3x3
Hang Snatch - 3x3
I was definitely overdue for a bad workout...so I got one today. Not sure what went wrong, but it may have had something to do with me waking up at 4:30am with the pup and never going back to sleep. Things were just off today and instead of reinforcing bad technique, I callled it a day.
Tomorrow I'll try again and then I'm off for a few day on a biz trip. Seems like forever since I've gone anywhere!
Yeah, workout in pounds since I buzzed over to the commercial gym close to my house. I am definitely spoiled by the good equipment I usually get to use. The regular gym stuff is just crap. But hey...it worked!

There is a crossfit gym a couple of miles from my house that incorporates Olympic lifting and I’m thinking of giving it a try. Kinda looks like fun. I’m new to this crossfit thing, but I believe it has been around for awhile. I’m wondering if this style of training assists one in getting stronger? I do like that one evolution called Fran where they do squat thrusts with cheating pull ups for time. I watched in on ‘youtube’ and I thought the one broad was doing it with 135 lbs. on account of the size of the plates. I go into my gym and do the evolution with 135 successfully but it took me over 7 minutes with that weight. I came to find out that chicks do it with 65 lbs. and guys do it with 95. Haha, good stuff!!!
If you and Tina ever came to summit, I'd have to make up "I'm with Zippy" t shirts so we can wear them and stand next to you...hehehe...OK dork moment over, for now...carry on....
