Thanks Tracey! I'm so excited!

Light workout today. I have a training meet this weekend too. A friggin' car alarm woke me up at 5am and I couldn't get back to sleep. Totally annoying.

Warmups - dynamic, stretching, bar warmups

C&J - 2x2x20kg, 2x1x25kg, 1x30kg, 5x1x35kg, 1x40kg, 1x42.5kg, 1x45kg, 1x47.5kg

That's all.

cute overload! she should be a model for those cute puppy calendars

When we were in college, my now husband's roomate tricked out his 03 chevy cavalier with a crazy alarm system. The air guard did their drills early in the morning, so every time they passed over the stupid thing would go off and wake everyone up. It happened about 3 times a week. FUN.

It's impossible to name a dog when there's a 5 year old in the house. We're still debating. All I know is that I'm not gonna win.

I've already vetoed "Rockstar" and "Number 20" as well as "Miss Cutie" and "Hannah Montana" Sigh.

Yeah, George wanted to name his kid Seven or Soda. It's totally a Seinfeld episode this naming thing. However, it looks like her name will likely be Juno. The boys liked it better than any of the names I suggested () but it's pretty cute I think.

ah heck - who ends up using their given name these days anyway? I'm sure she'll answer to Smoochdoodle just as well as Juno.

LOL!
That pic is toooo cute - so sweet it could cause diabetes

Our dog (Coco) came with his name. Wish we'd known he wasn't actually name-trained or we'd have picked something else. However he answers best to "Butthead" (blame my sweet children). He also answers to Coco, Cocopuff, Cocobutt, Coconut, Coke-head, and about 20 other variations...

WTF is wrong with Rockstar?

You should name the dog after your favorite Judas Priest album.

Sounds like us with Pig - very rarely is he called by his name....more often it's fuzz-butt, fuzz-ass, furball, scooter, etc etc etc!!

Yeah, that's true. NEXT puppy will be Number 20.

Sooooo, had a meet today. Twas good.

Snatch - 44kg, 46kg (F), 47kg

C&J - 53kg, 55kg, 57kg

Total = 104kg (+2kg from last meet).

I'm not sure what happened on that second snatch, but the last one was good. All my jerks were also good w/no press outs at all. I'm convinced it had everything to do with the PSL that I consumed beforehand.

Unfortunately, my film crew was not with me so no vids this time.

Nice job!
Juno is a cute name ... love that movie.
You'll end up calling her June-Bug or something.
Daisy is usually either "Crazy Daisy", "Lazy Daisy", or just "Daisy Love" ...

Yay on a good meet! So sorry I didn't get there, but I swear one of these times I WILL come watch and cheer for you!!!

Ended up driving halfway to Toledo anyway, took DS to Cedar Point... where it was freezing, rainy, and super-crowded with awful long lines. WTF? Shoulda just gone to Toledo, I guess...

Next time, Bytsi!

So I had a light workout today. Just something to help with recovery. Did a bunch of warmups and stretching.

Warmup - dynamic, stretching, bar

Front Squats - 2x20kg, 2x30kg, 2x40kg, 1x50kg, 1x55kg, 4x1x60kg

Hang Snatch - 5x3xbar

PPBH - 3x20kg, 3x30kg, 3x35kg, 3x40kg

More Stretching

that's it.

They're PLVs! I loves the Louboutins but they are just too damn expensive! Each season they get more outrageous. These PLVs are really cute though and suprisingly comfortable.

And hey, a workout! I'm feeling really burnt out this week. Not sure what's going on, but overall feeling of blah-ness.

Warmups - dynamic, stretching, bar

Snatch - 2x2x20kg, 2x2x25kg, 1x27.5kg, 1x30kg, 1x32.5kg, 5x1x35kg, 1x37.5kg, 1x38.5kg, 2x1x40kg, 1x41kg, 1x42.5kg, 1x35kg, 3xbar

Front Squats - 2x20kg, 2x30kg, 2x40kg, 2x50kg ,2x55kg

that's it. Blech.
