Absolutely! The hardest part of w/using the 25 is how to get it from the hook on the GHR bench to your chest. Once there, it's fine. With the 10 it seems so easy and then you go down for the first rep and you're like...OMG WTF how am I gonna get back up. It was all good though.

what i do is either put the plate on the edge of the handle like you said, or just balance the plate on the pad. When i get on the ghr, i just pick the plate off the pad. You should be able to do this since your knees don't sit on top of the pad.

Aaaaaaah. It's a rest day for me. I am swamped at work, but I will take some time out this afternoon or evening to do some stretching/mobility work and take a nice walk around the 'hood. I'm still trying to improve my pullups so I did some of those this morning too (while on a conference call - mute button on ). Have a great day everyone!
I wasn't referring to pain and torture being yucky ... but rather physical therapy and sex (ie sex with a client) being yucky.

Great workout with the other local lifters today. It was a full house with seven people sharing 4 platforms. I shared my platform w/my usual training partner so nothing different than usual, but I didn't get a chance to do squats so I'll have to make up for them tomorrow.
Snatch - worked up to 35kg today. Did a lot at this weight and mostly they were really feeling good.
Clean & Jerk - these were hit or miss since I was fooling around with bar position for the jerk. It's a fine line between strangulation and a great jerk for me apparently. I think they are improving though. Worked up to 45kg today and stayed there for a few singles. Shoulder wasn't hurting at all.
Pretty happy with the workout today. I did one snatch at 37.5kg (my current max) and it came up pretty easily. I think I can get 40 soon. I'm hoping for another workout tomorrow, otherwise I won't get a chance until Saturday since I'll be traveling from tomorrow afternoon - Friday.
Glad the technique improvement is helping ... and happy belated Mother's Day!!

Got a new Teavana order today ... mostly tins and a mug ... what's your favorite blend? I'm really into MateVana and Rooibos Chai ... in the morning mostly. I like my Pistachio Apple Pie in the evening.
