11 miles for Otis! We all celebrated our pets today, past and present. It was 80 degrees when we started, but I ran strong!

Slept really well last night and had a decent training session. My wrists feel really good for once. Did some snatches and pin squats. My coach is in Romania this week so I trained at my regular gym.

Warmups - lots

Snatch - 2x2x20kg, 2x1x25kg, 1x30kg, 1x32.5kg, 5x1x35kg, 1x36kg, 1x37.5kg, 1x38.5kg, 1x40kg, 2x1x41kg (F)

Front Pin Squats - 2x20kg, 2x30kg, 2x40kg, 2x45kg, 2x47.5kg, 2x50kg

Done. Got adjusted by the chiro and that was allllllll she wrote. Clean & Jerks tomorrow.

Had a decent workout despite me being really TIRED. I rode bikes with the kid yesterday (got him a trail-a bike for home) and it really wiped me out. Ate like a horse all day yesterday and still feel wiped today . Whatevah.

Warmups

Jerk+JBH from rack - 2x1x20kg, 1x30kg, 2x35kg, 2x37.5kg, 3x40kg, 1x42.5kg, 2x45kg (these felt good. focused on good technique and didn't push to add too much weight since I want to protect ma neck - sorta like the Wu Tang song)

Cleans - 2x20kg, 1x30kg, 1x32.5kg, 1x35kg, 1x40kg, 1x42.5kg, 5x1x45kg

done. Rest day tomorrow along with a trip to the PT/Rolfer. My CTS is feeling better and I had another good night of sleep despite me forgetting to wear my wrist brace. NICE!

Thanks Jamie and Julie!

Good sleep last night = good workout today . BIG suprise there.

Warmups - lots

Snatch - 2x2x20kg, 2x1x25kg, 2x1x30kg, 1x32.5kg, 1x35kg, 5x1x36kg, 1x37.5kg, 2x1x38.5kg, 1x40kg, 1x41kg, 1x42.5kg, 1x43.5kg, 1x45kg (F), 1x35kg

Back Squats - 2x30kg, 2x40kg, 2x50kg, 2x55kg, 4x1x60kg (these felt like crap today..still something going on w/SI joint)

CG Rows - 5x40kg, 5x42.5kg, 5x43.5kg

GHRs - 2x10xBW+5# held behind head

done! Beautiful day here today. BTW, that 43.5kg is a pr for snatch for me by 0.5kg. Hey, I'll take it! Also, I was really close to making the 45kg. It was overhead but I couldn't hold it cuz I didn't have my friggin arms locked out. NEXT time!

Thanks for the kitties! The little one in the pocket looks just like my Otis when he was a kitten. Sigh, I miss him.

Sorta light workouts the last two days. Not feeling tip top so did what I could. I somehow strained my low back/SI area and for the past few workouts it's been just feeling off. Yeah, I know...I'm a trainwreck. The rolfing and PT work makes each workout an adventure, you never know what will happen.

Yesterday trained with my coach. Did snatches up to 37 and kept C&J at 35 because they seem to bother my SI more than the snatches for some reason.

Today - snatched up to 41kg and did some rack jerks to 50.5kg. Skipped squats until my SI feels 100.

I'm heading to FL for a few days and will hopefully be mo bettah when I get home. CTS continues to get better though, so it's not all doom and gloom.

Have fun in Florida.. or wait , it is for work, right?

Your workouts look great despite the problems! Snatches I can only dream off!
What do you exactly do for warmups.. 'lots' won't suffice.
Am on the lookout for routines for both warm-up and actual exercises to improve on snatches /C&Js.
