Postural changes, good flexibility and stability can go a long way toward overcoming the effects of spurs. (IOW, spurs do NOT equal pain automatically. There are many folks walking around with spurs without pain/numbness.) So don't get your spirits down!!

Thanks, Sunshine! BTW, my carpal tunnel continues to get better each day simply from wearing the damn splint on my wrist. I can't wait to get back home and get started with my PT and rolfing treatments.
yep, ed looks great with a purse, all 6 foot 6 260 pounds of manly man lookin good with the multi-murse look, or the multi-mandbag. anyway, he earned his NEAT by schlepping all of my finds back to the car--we'd text him and bribe him with teavana so he would haul the loot. he had a blast, and totally looks forward to round two.
I guess he would be happy. He'd look like an utter pimp with three beautiful women and their luggage.
Well, I trained with my coach today. It's tough getting back to it after two weeks off. Not a great workout, but I was happy to be back. Training again tomorrow and hoping things go better. Back to the PT on Sunday!
Trained again yesterday, but just light technique work (snatches up to 35kg) and some speed front squats at 50kg. Amazing how two weeks off and constant working / sitting on ass / eating crap will do to you strength!
Rest day today. Went to the PT and got my ams and neck worked on. Feeling pretty good. Did some badass stretching and took a walk today. Back to the gym tomorrow.
Ugh, I had the WORST night's sleep last night. I had my rolfing session yesterday on my arms and wrists and I was up all night with burning pain in my arms. This happened after my last rolfing session but then I got markedly better. I'm not sure why, but I'm assuming it causes some inflamation that in turn puts pressure on the carpal tunnel. Hoping this doesn't happen again because I have these sessions set up TWICE a week. Decided to train today anyway, and it was just so-so.
Planned on doing pin squats but I felt a twinge in my SI and I decided to get it adjusted before pushing it too hard. After having sprained it I'm really careful. Basically I'm a trainwreck right now so why push it right? lol.
Thanks Jane! Yeah, it sucks not being able to train my hardest, but with all the shit going on w/my body right now I need to just back off and take it easy. I need to keep reminding myself not to try to lift too much and to just stop when my technique is starting to fall apart. Frustrating but it is what it is....
No! When? Where? Gotta go check... I love the Gories. I have Detroit Breakdown on my "Detroit" themed playlist.
ETA: June 27 at The Majestic Theater...woot!
my sister is going to it. I was going to type out the info, but i see you have it!
Jay Reatard is playing at the Magic Stick after their show. Supposedly, you get 1/2 off admission if you have the tix from the gories. The next day, Greg Oblivian is playing as well.
Lots of good bands for ya!

Hang in there ... it will get better. And keep in mind that anything somewhat ballistic (C&J, Snatch) will tend to irritate it depending upon where exactly on your hand you catch the bar ...

Killjoy!
I had a great night's sleep last night FINALLY. That's the good news. The bad news is...my beloved orange tabby, Otis died this morning. He was with me for 18 fabulous years. He will be missed.
