When Michael's lymph node on the side of his neck got all swollen and infected, I was pretty convinced that he had cancer and by not getting it checked out he was letting it move to his brain.
And most recently, at 20 weeks when they did Luke's ultrasound, he was snuggled soooo tightly to the placenta (and would not move no matter HOW I moved and she banged with the thingy) I convinced myself that it was because his umbilical cord was soooo short that he actually COULDN'T move. I know you'll be shocked to hear that his umbilical cord was was fine and he's moving and grooving now.
Really quick workout this morning with Tina! I'm off for vacation and will maybe be checking in...maybe not. No training for me until NEXT Saturday.
Did some snatches this morning up to 41kg. Felt weird. I went to my rolfer / PT yesterday and he worked on my hands, wrists, forearms so things felt different when I lifted. Took me a bit to get used to. Ran out of time so didn't get to squat. Next time!
Hey guys. Had a great time on vacation. It was really relaxing despite the not-so-warm weather. Did a lot of biking with my son (we rented one of those trail-a bikes). Ate a ton of food. Drove home Friday and now I'm in Tampa for work for the week. Had dinner with Tina and Wendy last night! It was a blast.
I didn't train over vacation and I've decided to take another week off whle here in Tampa. The CPT seems to be improving a bit. I had one session with my rolfer and wearing the wrist brace while sleeping seems to be helping for now. I still wake up in the night, but only once or twice vs. the 5-8 times I was perviously experiencing. I have much less numbness during the day too. I still need to figure out what to do about my neck though. I have bone spurs which aren't fixed through PT or rolfing other than working on not making them worse. So I need to figure out what I can do about it. I am probably going to seek the advice of a neurologist next. Sigh.
Okay..off to meet the girls for breakfast and shopping!
One question: When a couple shops, the husband ends up holding the purse while the woman tries things on. That's how you tell a guy is married. When three women shop, who holds all the purses?

Answer: Wendy's husband cuz he came with us. What a sport he is.
yep, ed looks great with a purse, all 6 foot 6 260 pounds of manly man lookin good with the multi-murse look, or the multi-mandbag. anyway, he earned his NEAT by schlepping all of my finds back to the car--we'd text him and bribe him with teavana so he would haul the loot. he had a blast, and totally looks forward to round two.
