I would so leave Otto in a heartbeat.
And I think that's the only man on the planet I could say that about.
On the bright side, I wouldn't have to.
Plus, it's not like I'd get the chance.

Halting Cleans - 2x20kg, 2x30kg, 2x35kg, 2x40kg, 2x2x42.5kg, 2x2x45kg

Henry Rollins was pretty entertaining on 103.1 until it went out of business (like all interesting non-pop radio).

The weather is spectacular today . I wish it could be like this every day...but then I would NOT be living in Detroit, I would be in San Diego.
Trained with my coach. The garage was a perfect temperature for training and the bars weren't cold as ice like they usually are. Can't ask for much more.
Snatch - 2x2x20kg, 2x1x25kg, 2x1x29kg, 2x1x33kg, 1x36kg, 1x37kg, 1x38kg, 1x39kg, 2x1x40kg, 2x1x42kg, 3x1x35kg
C&J - 2x25kg, 2x30kg, 1x33kg, 1x35kg, 1x38kg, 1x40kg, 1x43kg, 1x45kg, 1x48kg, 2x1x50kg
Things were feeling pretty damn good. I have a meet next Saturday, so I'm hoping for a little added to my totals. We shall see. I'm heading to FL tomorrow and will be totally busy with meetings so likely not lifting until Thursday (unless I sneak in a quick squatting workout tomorrow morning before I leave).

Managed to sneak out and get a workout done this morning. Went to the local commercial gym (cuz it's closer than where I usually train).
Front Squats - 2x45#, 1x65#, 1x85#, 1x105#, 1x115#, 1z125#, 2x1x135#, 3x1x140# (63.5kg)
Behind-head Push Press - 3x565#, 3x85#, 2x3x90# (40.8kg)
Chins 3x5xBW
High Step-ups - 1x5xBW, 2x5xBW+10#
Stretched and done. Felt pretty good today. The friggin' bars at this gym suck ass. They are totally unbalanced and rickety. You totally get spoiled when you get to train every day using nice oly stuff. When I was doing the push presses it felt like the bar was totally off balance (I'm sure it was). Anywhoo, I'll take it.

I know what you mean about the crappy bars at most gyms. Most of the bars at my gym are bent, the collars hardly spin, and the plates have flat spots where the handles are, which makes doing any work off the floor a royal pain.
Did someone say BEEFCAKE!

LOL on the beefcake.
I know I shouldn't have worked out today. I've had several bad sleep nights in a row and I just flew back from Tampa yesterday. Serves me right...the workout suuuuucked. I bailed on snatches and did some jerks up to 50kg and called it a day.
Meh, it happens right?

Totally happens. I had an uber shitty snatch w/o earlier in the week as well. Aggravating, I know.... meet will be fine, I'm sure.
