I don't think my job is quittable ...
But I'd sure like to get paid for it!!

I've been wanting to try the black tea Chai (don't know if it's the same you mentioned) ... I have the rooibus Chai and that's great mixed with mate vana.

I think that is the blend my cousin gave me for Christmas - (I haven't tried it yet because he told be to dump it into a bowl and re-mix it first as right now they are layered on each other rather than mixed)

I have the Masala Chai. It's really good. Very spicy. Great with a touch of honey and a splash of milk.

Trained this morning. Squats were good, the rest was just so-so. I've been up since 4:15am so maybe that's it. Hey, I'm not complaining...at least it's done right?

Speed Front Squats - 2x20kg, 2x30kg, 3x40kg, 4x2x50kg

Snatch Warmup - sots press, drop snatch, shrugs w/scarecrow, 2 shrugs + 1 DH Snatch

Snatch Pull from above knee - 4x2xbar, 4x2x25kg

Hang Snatch - 6x1xbar, 6x1x20kg

Jill, explain the speed front squats to me. I've been really working on my front squats to enhance my oly training. But, just regular front squats.

Right now I'm doing three types of front squats in my program. The first is a pause front squat where you stop at the bottom of the squat, hold it for a few seconds, and come up. Nah youve got this

The purpose is because one of Jill's weaknesses in her lifting is raw leg and core strength from the bottom as well as confidently moving heavy weights quickly. She was doing singles for limit strength and now shes doing triples to build more tolerance with relatively lighter (but still heavy weights) so that she can push her limit strength further.

Good training session today.

Warmups - sots press, clean grip shrugs, clean grip scarecrow shrug, DH cleans

Jerk Balances - 2x35kg, 2x37.5kg, 3x2x40kg, 1x35kg (i think I went too heavy w/these because my form wasn't very good)

2-position cleans (F+H) - 2x1x35kg, 3x1x37.5kg

Front Squats - 2x3x55kg, 3x3x53.5kg (the first two sets were a little ugly)

Overall...feelin' okay.

Mmmmmm...frosty. Actually it was some sort of a blizzard-y type of thing that was simply a prop for the picture. The kid has a chocolate milkshake but obviously had his sights on the blizzard as well.

Ah, Jill....wish I could see from work, but will have to wait until I get home.

I like doing those 2-position cleans. Of course, I'm still working so much on technique that there's no comparison to what you are doing!
