Today is a good day. The weather is beautiful, I'm back home after a few days in Florida on bizniss, I got my truck out of winter storage , and I had a great workout.

Warmup: the usual stuff plus some extra shoulder warmups

C&J 3x2x35kg, 4x1x37.5kg, 5x1x40kg

Jerks behind head 3x5x60#, 2x5x65#
Chins 3x5xBW, 2x4xBW

Defecit DLs 3x8x60kg
Dips 3x8xBW
Planks 3x90 seconds

My hands are killing me today but I didn't have to use tape and no callus rips.

You're hooking, right? (Hmmm, bets as to how long it takes for that statement to get misconstrued... LOL)
You can always tape over your calluses too. When I was wrapping the one hand, the calluses got significantly smaller w/o compromising my grip at all.

Hooking yes. I just ripped my hands up a couple weeks ago because I used chalk and it f-ed my hands up. Now I'm recovering from it. Chins always kill my hands anyway. I just need to pummice the hell out of my hands to get rid of those calluses.

Hooking = using a hook grip. It's a grip you use in olympic lifting where you wrap your hand around the bar w/your thumb on the inside instead of the outside.

if you tape your fingers, don't tape over the joints.

I taped over my joints by accident on saturday. I took the tape off, and my fingers were purple b/c the tape tightened and somehow bruised my fingers. They didn't hurt at all, but i figured the blood supply was probably cut off....

Good workout today. Finally got 37.5kg for the snatch after being very close for the past few weeks.

Warmup: stuff

Snatch 2x2x20kg, 3x2x25kg, 2x2x27.5kg, 2x1x30kg, 1x1x32.5kg, 5x1x35kg, 2x1x37.5kg

Snatch Balance 5x5x20kg
3pt DB Row 5x5x40#

Rack Pulls 3x8x155#
KB Swings 3x8x40#
Side Planks 3x60sec per side

Done! Here's a video - oh, and no annoying "boxing" today.
