Let me do the math for you...

Given: Aoife is 5'3"
Given: Lil'J is 5'3"
Given: Lil'J is an oompaloompa

∴ Aoife is an oompaloompa.

QED.

I never tried any of these trappist beers until we went over to New Zealand last year. They have some badass belgian beer cafe there that brews some on site, and imports a lot from Europe.

Some of that stuff gets so strong it's almost like drinking wine, but it still has a good flavor to it.

I got pretty lit up myself after drinking 3 of the 9%+ pints. I don't have nearly the drinking tolerance I once had but even so I could tell that was some good mojo.

Look at mah multi-quote skillz, reprezent!

Actually the thought that occurred to me was that they're the Greek chorus in this morality tale, commenting on the action, but not directly taking part in it.

Are you suggesting that's where Jill gets her fashion from? Or vice versa?

That was made in '71. Jill wouldn't be born for some time. From those videos, she can't be more than 30 or so...

Color me jealous of the Germany travel. You can keep the beer, though. *gag* Ya know, when I was a teenager, I once planned out an entire trip to Germany (even learned German) in order to hunt down a singer (living in Germany) I had a crush on. I never did get to Germany but it's still at the top of my travel list once I knock off hubby for the life insurance. No longer for stalking purposes, though. Maybe.

Makes sense. Deny the stalking in public, makes you more credible when said hubby and singer come up floatin in the ocean.

Yeah, try drinking 3 or 4 or more pints of that stuff weighing sub-120#. It was a challenge staggering back to the hotel on those cobblestone streets. Good stuff though. Man, that stuff is good.

You have some mad multi-quote skillz.

Ya know, traveling to Germany on bizniss is not nearly as fun as going there to stalk an obscure "heavy metal keyboardist." Honestly, traveling for work isn't much fun at all. You are stuck in meetings all day and you don't even get a chance to see the city. Usually we go out for very nice dinners though. I need to work on saying "no" when I am offered grappa or other schnapps at the end of the meal though. I hear it's rude to say no. That stuff can leave you passed out in the gutter on the side of the road if you're not careful.

So Tina was in town visiting her family and we got a chance to grab a workout. Neither of us was feeling "on" today, but we had fun. Did snatches up to 35kg, C&Js up to 40kg (or 45, can't remember) and front squats at 135# (Tina for doubles, me for singles cuz I'm L'il).

And just for you Matt, we work our striped socks.

Sorry about the lovely songs. It was hard to resist when you two were opposites on your lifting day. I can think of a worse song.

Did you guys coordinate outfits so you had opposite short, shirt, and sock colors? It's just so cute...
