Had a grrrrrrrrrrrreat workout at the coach's today. The weather is warm and sunny which really heats the place up and makes it SO much easier to limber up. Had to rush my workout a bit because I needed to get home, so mostly did snatches. Technique is improving.
Snatch 3x1x25kg, 5x1x29kg, 4x1x31kg, 10x1x35kg
C&J 3x1x30kg, 5x1x35kg, 2x1x40kg
that's all I had time for. Tomorrow I'll do more C&J and some squats.
Full Back Squats 1x3x50kg, 1x3x55kg, 1x2x57.5kg, 1x1x60kg, 2x1x65kg
That's all. Cleans felt great, but jerk technique started breaking down at 45kg, so I kept it there. I'm pleased that I've maintained my strength while dieting (I'm down about 12 pounds), but I'm looking forward to eating at maintenance again and getting STRONGER again. I've got a few pounds to go and I'm done.

I'm one of those people who has a pretty even distribution of bodyfat, so I can carry extra poundage pretty well. So nobody says to me...hey, you lost weight! I kind of look the same. I have gone down a couple sizes in jeans though.
Another shitty workout today. I did some clean and jerks, worked up to 45kg and then just decided....I was done. I'm just not feeling it this week. So.....I am officially on a one-week diet break. This is only the second week-long break I've taken since I started cuttin' the fatz and I am definitely ready. I'm only a few pounds from goal (want to compete in 53kg) so after this break I will be back at it for a few weeks to get this over and done with.
I'll be in Germany next week on business and will enjoy the food (and beer) and not train and just sit on my ass in meetings all week. Oh, but before I go, Tina is coming to town and we will be training together on Saturday. Yay! I'll make sure to post some vids.

but I guess now that I think about it...
