Hey girl! Glad you had a quality weekend with the kid ... I'm looking forward to my first Yankees game with the girls!! There is a local Twins affiliate too a few towns over ... we'll probably start there.

I stopped by because your log always motivates me. I have been avoiding it because right now it just makes me jealous and frustrated. My urge to see tiny women in striped socks lift big weights overcame my frustration and so here I am! Good workouts.

Had a grrrrrrrrrrrreat workout at the coach's today. The weather is warm and sunny which really heats the place up and makes it SO much easier to limber up. Had to rush my workout a bit because I needed to get home, so mostly did snatches. Technique is improving.
Snatch 3x1x25kg, 5x1x29kg, 4x1x31kg, 10x1x35kg
C&J 3x1x30kg, 5x1x35kg, 2x1x40kg
that's all I had time for. Tomorrow I'll do more C&J and some squats.

Wow, another workout. I'm onna roll.
C&J 3x1x20kg, 2x1x25kg, 1x1x30kg, 1x1x35kg, 2x1x37.5kg, 3x1x40kg, 3x1x42.5kg, 3x1x45kg
Full Back Squats 1x3x50kg, 1x3x55kg, 1x2x57.5kg, 1x1x60kg, 2x1x65kg
That's all. Cleans felt great, but jerk technique started breaking down at 45kg, so I kept it there. I'm pleased that I've maintained my strength while dieting (I'm down about 12 pounds), but I'm looking forward to eating at maintenance again and getting STRONGER again. I've got a few pounds to go and I'm done.

I'm one of those people who has a pretty even distribution of bodyfat, so I can carry extra poundage pretty well. So nobody says to me...hey, you lost weight! I kind of look the same. I have gone down a couple sizes in jeans though.

Just a mediocre workout today. I was up until 1am watching the Wings lose last night and still got up at 6am.
Snatch - 2x1x20kg, 3x1x25kg, 2x1x27.5kg, 6x1x30kg, 7x1x35kg
Squat Snatch from Hang 3x3x25kg
Front Squat 3x5x105# (wasn't feelin' it)
GHRs 2x20xBW
I didn't do the rest of what I planned. Sometimes it just one of those days.
