Was down in Melbourne from Friday to early yesterday AM. It's cold there, and it made my sinus problems flare up -- which means the equivalent of a head-cold. It's still here today, but not as bad so I went and lifted.
Rack DL from below knee (pin 3 on the EFS rack) - 120 (264)x5, 150 (330)x5, 170 (374)x3, 190 (418)x3, 210 (462)x2, 220 (484)x1, 195 (429)/3x1
GHR, 2 sets of negatives (still worried about that right hamstring)
45* back raise, 4x12
Ab rollouts, 3x8
Standing leg curl, 3x8
Weighed around 93kg (~205lbs)

2-board, 110 (242)+chains/2x2, 110 (242)/2x3
A. Inverted row, 2x12
B. Pushups, 2x12
Nautilus pulldown, 3x8 <-- I like this, it's some free-motion contraption that lets you adjust grip and width as you move

B. DB curl, 30 (lbs) 2x8
I was down a cool 100g from Wednesday.

Box SQ, 70 (154)x3, 120 (264)x3, 120+chain x3, 140 (308)+c x2, 140+2c x1, 145 (319)+2c x1, 120+2c/2x2
GHR*, 3x6
Standing leg curl, 2x8
A. 45* back raise, 3x15
B. Woodchop, 2x10/Rollout, 2x8
* I was watching a bunch of the EFS vids of the GHR and came to the conclusion that I was doing them wrong, with my knees too high on the pad. I adjusted accordingly, leaving the knees off the pad some and putting more of the thigh on them. This made it easier to crank reps out, so maybe the hams aren't as weak as I was thinking.

I was getting in really close so that the knee was jammed in and the "pivot point" on the pad. Watching the EFS videos, the guys actually had their knees lower down off the pad, so the pivot point was on the lower part of the thigh, above the knee.

I just checked those videos out. You're right. Now I'm wondering if I'm doing them correctly.
Well enough I guess. I have to get off my ass soon and get the visa application in soon so they don't throw me out. Otherwise, hanging around and doing my thing.

So what are the rules in Australia vs the US? You're married so you can immediately get a work permit? Is there a green-card type of concept and how difficult is it to get one? My husband had to go through the green-card process and it was a royal pain in the ass and took FOREVER.
It's kinda tricky since the wife is actually a citizen of New Zealand.
Australia has this reciprocal visa thing with NZ so she basically gets "instant residence" any time she enters the country.
They offer a loophole for family members of NZ citizens, who aren't themselves NZ citizens, that offers temporary residence for up to 5 years at a time, with no limits on how often it can be re-upped. Otherwise I'd have no way in, bc they are somewhat strict with who they let in just out of the blue.
Since she's not a perm. resident, I can't be either, but that's no big deal since she can't decide whether to stay here or go back to NZ in a year or so anyway.
As far as immigration, this is supposed to be pretty painless. They've said 4-6 weeks processing time for this particular visa.
This is part of the reason I'm here, also. Getting her to the States would have been a royal headache, as per your story. We didn't want to deal with that, and I like it better here anyway.

Seems like a pretty good system. It took us beaucoup $$ to finally get the greencard worked out because there was such a backlog. We had to keep getting our attorney to re-apply for the temporary documents while the green card was processing. It took 5 years for it finally to come through. Totally insanity. I agree Australia is nicer. I hear NZ ain't too bad either. We have some friends who have moved down there.
Playing around w/ the diet, trying to get away from the low-cal/fasting type days and get more carbs/calories with more exercise.
Are you getting closer to that goal of 210 and 8%?

Bench, bar x whatever, 70 (154)x8, 70+minis x5, 82.5 (181.5)+ minis/5x3*
Lockouts w/ close grip, 100 (220)x5, 110 (242)x5, 120 (264)x5
Face pulls, 4x12
DB Incline, 30kg (66)/3x10
Cable row, 3x8 + 1x10 shrugback
Side raise 20x8, front raise 20x8
Was depressed/unmotivated at this point, so I came home.
* Seems the left shoulder wanted to pop to match the right one on the first set at 82.5. I did some ghetto-ART on it and played w/ form a bit, got it mostly pain free to finish the benching, but it stayed sensitive to any pressing motion (hence no progress on the DB inclines).
On further analysis after leaving the gym, it may actually not be the shoulder, but instead the pec minor. Wishful thinking maybe, but shoulder ROM isn't impaired the way the right side always was and the pain isn't quite in the right spot. Will have to see what it does the next few days.
