DBs with a neutral grip work perfectly, then.
Anyhow, don't sweat the details. You can be strong and never do a dip or a decline anything.

Depending on the week I have benches monday, tuesday, thursday and friday, as well as some dips, presses and inclines.
Its only as interesting as you make it.

Cyco
As Roland put it so nicely... I was sweating the details a little too much. Wasn't saying that decline wasn't fine, just wanted to make sure it was okay with two other days of different types of benching.
Hi Matt, I'll stop taking over your journal now.

That's a nice lookin' workout. How's that diet coming along? Is Alabama still sidetracking you? I'm in Florida today and keep seeing the Waffle House sign. Tempted.

Diet = fail. No point in even attempting it until I get settled in Australia. I'm up 10 lbs, and nothing to be done about it.
We didn't have Waffle House in south Florida. There was one up on Commercial Blvd, but I couldn't see myself eating* there.

The thing about Waffle House is that the name of the place sounds so good...then you eat there and it's not. But you see the sign and you think, mmmmm waffles.

Skipped yesterday, really just wasn't feeling it.
Made it up today:
Seated cable rows, 2x8
2-board press, 5x3/235
Pulldowns, 3x6, 2x10
DB flyes, 5x10
Pushdowns, 3x10
BB curls, 2x5
Left shoulder's been wanting to twinge during the full ROM bench work, so I may have to cut that out. Again. And this isn't even the shoulder that was hurt before
Otherwise, everything's going well. I'm going to try and keep the volume/intensity up through this week and whatever I can manage Mon/Tues next week. Travel starts a week from tomorrow and there's no telling when I'll get back to a gym.

But they're equivalent to greasy Eggo waffles--UGH. And they only have non dairy creamer--double UGH! AND they have no egg substitute.
However, the people that hang out there make it almost worth it.

I actually ate Waffle House last night after going out for a few (12) beers.
Lifted today despite (yet another) hangover.
DL, up to three singles with 425
Incline BP, 2x10
OHP, 2x3+2 push presses
2 light sets of GMs
Oh and I'm up to 212, which is about where i was when I started dieting

Nice! Don't worry about the weight, you can take it off after the move. It's hard to concentrate on diet when your life is in flux.
Have a great trip back.
