I not only apprietiate and respect your post, but I agree with it. There are a few reasons I am going to still go through my cut.
First, I cant afford to do this much longer. In a two week time frame, I drop about 100 at costco, 60-80 a trip to the grocery store, which is usually every 5 days, and still like 30-40 eatin out. I dont even make that much working two days a week.
also, I made it a goal on the first page of teh log, and I am going to stick to that.
Come late july/august I will start back up and make a long 6 month ganing session.
I know i dont usually workout on sat but i had a strange frustrating day. just woke up on the wrong side the the earth today. Needed to blow off steam.
youll notice a trend of dimishing returns today. I havnt been completely honest with you guys, ive been hiding a nagging elbow/triceps injury. got the best of me today, but I also got the best of my first set of bench.

BW-195.0 in my skivvies. Should be noticed I had a mini fast today. Just felt sick to my stomach and the thought of food made me queezy. aside from breakfast I had two protein shakes. that was it.
my elbow/triceps on my left arm is just killing me and im gunna take some time off from the gym a bit early.

Alco- I wore my "strong(er) beanie today hah, I think it made me strong(er) hah. i dont think I will ever not workout with it again.
on the issue of food, it doesnt have to be expensive. One guy i train with sometimes uses a 100% liquid diet with shakes consisting of oats/protien powder/oils. 5-6 per day. a little boring, but cheap.

that's cool man. I can't say that i really know what it's like to drop a hundred a week on food b/c i am still living at home going to college. So, do whatever you can financially!
as for your elbow/arms, look into getting some BioFreeze and elbow sleeves. I use it, as well as the guys i train strongman with, and A LOT of other strength athletes. It's not just a liniment, but it's takes away a lot of the pain, and allows you to train. Before lifting I lather up my biceps and shoulders w/ biofreeze, and also ice as often as i can.
If you look into getting sleeves, here's some info from someone over at marunde's board on the sleeve thickness:
hahaha. Yeah im at my parents for the next few days. Moms is feeding me like a veal calf. 196.5 on their scale. They are freaked out by how much a weigh. Ive been icing it all night and shes gunna take me tomorow to get a sleeve.
as for the beanie hahah, I trained at the gym my girl works at today because my school one was closed. people gave me the "who is this queer with a beanie pulled over his eyes" look till I repped out the 275. Then I had people come up and introduce themselves. Met a cool kid who played ball at Ap St.
Jackals is an awesome place. The guy who runs it, Gillingham is a top strongman competitor, and ships the stuff out promptly. I ordered a pair of rehband shorts (which, by the way, you should look into b/c they are fucking awesome), and got it 2 or 3 days from the day i ordered it. They are great.
If you can find the old, blue rehband sleeves, those are supposed to be the best. I've heard some things about the black ones ripping after a few months, but i also heard that they're more mobile than the blue ones. Then, there's other people who say the black are great, and haven't had any trouble w/ them. I'd just invest in the blue if you can find them, or the black if you can't. Rehband makes great stuff.

going to the gym in a bit, feel nice fat n rested. gunan hit 3 more weeks, w,th,sa,sun. warning, the past few days have been nothing but bad food and no activity along with lots n lots of dark nasty beer. april 1st will not come soon enough. I am starting to jiggle when I brush my teeth.
i told you man, once you get to 200, you're going to want to keep going. You reach a weight, and you think that you don't look that big, b/c you're used to seeing the weight.

I covered my left arm from the top of my forearm to the middle of my bicep, didnt have any pain, I even rubbed it on my chest before I benhc just cause it felt good. haha.
but im not feeling that way about the weight. I wanna start cutting like right now hah. But im gunna wait it out till the first. I like it when Im lean. If i didnt have a horrible muscle size dismorphia complex id probably never bulk.
one more thing....I <3 Biofreeze. I use the knockoff too. "Freeze it". Checked it out, same stuff to a T. Got the roll on thing too. Also been icing it 2-3 daily. Seems to help. If it gets worse I might go to my ortho. hoping it wont come to that. You can actually see the tendon that connects my Tri to the Elbow popping out when I workout.
The deed is done. Im so F'n sick of bulking. The gut is driving me mad and nothing fits anymore. This was the most successful bulk of my life in terms of weight gained and strength increased. I was 203 after dinner. Time to start transitioning into my cutting phase. Gettin back into the gym this coming week, and going to start hitting the rope up again as I slowly lower the cals.
hah just got the new kicks. finally found some chucks for under 30 bucks. Unfortunately they are goofy as hell. they were 15 bucks cheaper than the all black ones though, I can live with that.
with a little guilt trip from john i got talked into posting a bit again. Just going to throw periodic updates in here. Not heading anywhere outside this thread.
The cut has been going well. It took me about 3 weeks to get the carb timing down so i am finally able to attack the weights, rather than just get threw the workout. Im down to 192, was at 15% last time I got bf tested. Getting tested again in about 2 weeks. The weight is coming off at a nice pace and I have gotten stronger as well.
Actually threw up 315 on the squats for the first time in my life. I am on a body part split as of now, tyring to work on some weak points. thats about that, I will try to post in here at least once a week. Just dont tell the assholes im back.
