They push me. Not as much as a competing powerlifter would, but they still push me.

What do you guys think of this design (minus the white around the text)

And this one for the t-shirt design contest (the back of the above tshirt will have the figures shown in this design, without the text)

Thanks alco.
We're going to try and have them ready so we can sell them at the conference on the 29/30. Just trying to make the design sellable.

squat ME - November 19

squat
350x1
370x2x3

wide stance goodmorning
245x5
255x2x2

seated row
230x6x3

bb curl
75x20

I wasn't with the club today, so I was in the other gym. The bar is a little lighter (I think), so I probably only squatted 365x2. Whatevs.

My computer got fucked yesterday, first time since I got it a year ago. Got a trojan. I'm getting pop ups all the time for poker sites and whatever. I don't even go on poker sites. I deleted some suspicious files, didn't help. Downloaded Norton, didn't help.
Fuck.

I'm 21 tomorrow.

Haha, most people get viruses from watching porn, not playing poker

That's a pretty good double, pretty close to your best single.

Happy Birthday!(it's tomorrow right now in Australia )

ha thanks guys

It probably was from watching porn
But it doesn't advertise porn, just gambling sites. One pop up is apparently for some kind of asian news site. wtf?

I'll check that out alco, thanks. I'll try anything to get rid of these stupid things.

My suit still hasn't come, I'm getting impatient even though I'm not using it for another two weeks.
Regardless of where my geared squat is in January, I'm going for 500 at the contest. I don't care if my best squat at the time is 450, I'm putting 500 on the bar.

This is the final design we agreed on. Plus the evolution thing on the back, I posted that before but I'll post it here again anyway.
The figures in the evolution will be the same dark blue as the first picture. I think we'll use mostly gray shirts. Should be good.
I think we're going to sell them for $20. If we get them in time for the conference next weekend, they'll sell for 20 or 22 or somewhere around there. We might drop it down to 18 or 19 for students. 18 sounds better than 20 I guess.

squat RE - November 23

box squat
335x2
340x2x3 - three sets of collars on the bar as well. I usually use two to keep the plates from sliding

front squat
225x2x2
245x1

close grip bentover row
225x4,5

It'll be time to bring the box down soon. Probably after the competition.

If I don't use one set of working collars, the plates slide as I step back and it throws me off. But these collars aren't very good, so I have to use two sets. Brent was trying to psych me up, so he goes "you're using this weight again? no, add some weight" and he grabs a set of collars and puts them on. haha

The good gym has good collars (three different kinds actually) but it's not open on Sundays, so I go to the other gym, the one that's open to all students. I'm not going to buy something for that gym.

We have a good set of spring collars, tight ones. We just keep them in one of our gym bags. Easy, and only costs a few bucks.

Did you get your suit yet? I'd do 2 sessions in it to break it in as soon as you get it, one with just suit bottoms, one with straps up. Plus before this, get into it 3-5 times at home to stretch it out to what it will normally be.

I haven't gotten it yet. Getting kind of impatient/worried.

It says on the site, 7-10 days international shipping by regular mail.
I got it sent regular, so there's no tracking number. It's been 11 business days so far.
I'll give it until the end of this week, then I'm canceling the payment/ordering a new suit on a rush order.
If it does come this week, I'll have six weeks in it before the competition (which reminds me, I have to sign up for that. Only 16 spots left!)

Anyone know if it would come to the door or just wait at a post office?

The way it works around here, if if your home, you get it. If your not, you get a note telling you to go to the post office.

I've been ordering express from liftinglarge, takes about 4 days. As for regular, About 10 days was right I think. If it's been 2 weeks, then email them.

I got a shipping confirmation email, so they sent it.
Maybe I'll email them tomorrow (Monday) night if it's not here.

Only administrative employees are on strike (my uncle works for the post office, I asked him). He says they only handle payroll, things like that.

11 days is nothing. that's how long it takes us to get stuff sometimes in the states. It once took me 3 months to get something shipped priority from the post mark to the day received.

They should be printed by Friday, NW. I couldn't get one with a squatter though, they're all going to have a guy doing a split jerk.

In other news...

IT CAME TODAY!

I tried to get it on twice, couldn't do it. Granted I only gave it five minutes, but still. The problem is my ass, it's just too damn big.
But still, it's here now!

Ah okay, your the opposite to me, I have smaller hips and bigger legs, so suit slippers would help me much more than you, still use them(or plastic bags, or compression shorts).

First time I got mine on, it took 45 minutes, to get it about 2-3 inches from being fully on.

Second time, took 20 minutes, with a 230lbs guy helping me get into it, still 1-2 inches from fully on, but we managed to get the straps up, and I managed to kinda quarter squat in it with 65kg hah.

I then got into it at home 2-3 times(at night), and then a few days later in the gym got it on in the morning(about 2kgs lighter) and it was fine. Keep in mind, I probably still can't get my suit on without suit slippers.

So yeah, don't freak out, use suit slippers, and baby powder atleast the first few times. If you try 6 times or more, and still can't get it full on, then you can freak out

Remember the suit will be ALOT easier to get into in the morning when you are lighter.

You should have fun squatting 20-30kgs more in the suit
