Enjoy your week off.
Go for a walk or something after work/on your lunch, just to get moving.

What's your previous squat PR?

Do you wear a belt?

I'll be on my feet all week, so no problem moving around!

I was at 315 before Smolov, tested and did 340 after the intro phase, and was going to test today, but locked up. Hopefully after 'normal' squat workouts for a few weeks I'll be over 350 and headed to 4.

I do wear a belt.

My right quad has twitched non-stop since I did this yesterday. Freaky.

Very freaky. I used to get random tricep twitching, but haven't had that for a couple of months now.

Update- Went to the sports medicine clinic this morning and no disc or nerve problem- just a bad spasm thank god. I won't rush back in the gym at all, but with the amount of pain I'm in I'm just glad it's not something much worse.

I can't tell if I am predisposed to severe muscle spasms or if I am a pussy.

Either way, I'm glad my spine is o.k.

saw the PT today and he wants me to keep notes until we meet next week, so i'm doing it here-

knees to chest stretch eases the pain- trying to do it every two hours. slight thigh spasms are back since the knee-taping.

did the knee to chest stretch again- did not ease the pain this time. Maybe advil is wearing off.

I know what it's like to not be able to find a pain free position. Keep popping advil and stick with the stretches when you can. Hopefully it will start to get better soon.

Thanks. I was getting on here just now to say that 4 advil at a time makes a big difference. I've been trying to keep the pain med low to realize what's going on and get it better, but this is good relief right now (and the doctor said it was not only good to do it, but highly suggested it).

I've never taken more than one or two advil before at once before.

I can't remember the last time I took painkillers, or the last time I took any sort of medication at all. Must have been ages ago, when I'd just take something my mum gave me lol

I don't like to take stuff because it makes feedback for getting fixed harder. For example, I had just taken meds before going to the PT yesterday and he's asking for pain levels in certain positions and they were way lower because of the meds. Of course, I told him that, so he factored it in.

Anyway, I hurt pretty bad right now, so it's anything and everything!
