ok broke down and bought another single ply shirt, got a Metal IPF King X, size 52. Too damn tight, couldn't even get my hands wide enough on the bar to try to lift. Back to elite for a size 54.

had to run home, some a-hole has holed up in his house with a M 16 and is shooting at anything in that moves. nobody is supposed to leave or enter the area. problem is my 19 year old is home, even though he's armed I need to get him out of the area, bc this crap is one block down the street. the gunman has alread killed two cops
shirt
365- can't even pull it to touch. something is going on with both shoulders and elbows. raw benching isn't too bad, a little discomfort, but with the shirt, my shoulders hurt and the pain gets worse all the way down my arm to my elbow. It is really bad about the bottom 2 inches of my biceps into the elbow area. If anyone has any idea what the heck is going on, or how to fix it let me know. I'm "supposed" to compete Oct 4 in the SPF Worlds and I don't think benching RAW will cut it.

Ok, I've never used briefs and my suit before. I got a set of single ply Inzer power pants and decided to try them under my suit today. I don't know if there is such a thing as too much gear, but something didn't feel quite right. I didn't seem to be able to "sit back" like I normally do, more trouble forcing knees out, and I had to loosen my belt one notch. Went pretty heavy but it didn't feel "just right" anyone know what might be going on, or do I just need to get used to it first?

couldn't do rack pulls two ja's doing f-ing curls in the squat racks. did have a little accident when I pulled 545 though, and this has never happened to me. Came off the floor and up real quick the next thing I knew was I was falling backwards, thinking "oh crap this is going to hurt". As it turned out I was lucky, ended up missing about a 6" x 2" patch of skin on my right shin all the way to the bone and on my butt. Nothing really hurt except my pride, taped it up and finished the day.........

i have a similar problem when i go metal ace suit / metal ace briefs. So much gear that i have no clue where i am in the squat or my depth. my belt is also very loose.
i found the powerpants have the tendency to push my knees in during the squat too.
I think your best bet it to just keep practicing with the gear and heavy weights, it will come im sure.

looks like you are making some good progress!
Hey Frank, someone on another board saw my post over there. He said that he "hikes up" the legs on his suit and briefs so it doesn't force the knees in........ try it

elbows and shoulders are killing me. its not so much the pressing on the BP that hurts it's the "pulling", NO speed what so ever on the down. I'll have to take a few Motrin at Worlds and hope everything goes well. I'm not sitting out now, I can rest in 10 days..........
my results from SPF Worlds. great event, great venue, toooooooo long of a day, next year it will be a two day event. With approx 130 lifters it turned into a 13 hour day. Three flights of 20+ for squat and DL, 5 flights for bench. Luckily my room was right down the hall from the ballroom the event was in, but the cool eveninig temps along with sitting around too long nearly cost me the title. I missed my first DL ...... BAD.

490 miss, could lock out about 2" from top. Came down WAY too slow, through all technique off and couldn't make lift
DL
530 miss, hit knees and couldn't pull the rest. Extremely pissed. went back to warmup room and after calming down I redid my warm ups. Heck I had 45 minutes before my next attempt so why not
530 EASY
skipped my third. I was way up going into the DL
that meet had some big lifts ive been reading about. nice job. single-ply too!
you know the sitting around all day wasn't that bad physically. I should have been smarter about warming up, I guess we all try to get warm without wearing ourselves out don't we. the mental aspect of a 12 hour meet was tough. trying to keep focus and intensity for that long just freakin wore me out mentally and emotionally.
If any of you can ever make it to a SPF meet do so. Jesse puts on a quality show, equipment is all the same meet to meet and its just a real good time for everyone.
