thanks guys!
saturday is going to be a great day I think.
right now its 7pm here, i am 14 hours out from the weigh in.
im sitting around 202lbs, havn't sweat out a single pound yet. looks like i am 2-3 hours ahead of schedual. 4 more lbs to go, going to drive to my parents house to sleep tonight (there live pretty close to where the meet is). Plan on being 200lbs when i get there at around 9pm tonight. Then, have a bath there and hopefully be 199 or so lbs. Then, ill try to get as much sleep as possible, hopefully im not to thirsty to sleep.
Hopefully im not speaking to soon, but my pan i followed for weigh ins seems like it is going to be a success.

thanks guys T- 12 hours til the meet.
Weighed in at 89.95kg which is JUST making the 90kg cutoff.
I got to 202lbs without any real effort, but i wont like the last 4lbs sucked quite a bit. had to use very hot baths and a steam room and was dry heaving a hell of alot. i got to 199lbs the night before, didn't loose a single lb while sleeping and had to wake up at 6am to sweat off another 3/4 of a lb then drive to the meet with the heat full blast. Not fully sure why the last 4lbs was so damn hard, mentall and physically.
I'm back up to ~214-215lbs right now and weight is staying fairly steady there. Feel sick from all the food today.
set openers at
s 295kg
b 157.5kg
d 250kg
should be a great day tomorrow. feeling pretty good now. Going to try get some sleep now, i think i actually will as i only slept about 2-3 hours last night.
thank you everyone!!

Well, it was an experience, im short of time now ill write up better later tonight.
I was at the meet at about 8am, all amped up and ready to go. I didn't lift until about 8pm, and i wasn't home until early hours of the morning. very long day to say the least.
I fell asleep about 20mins before my opening squat, and was have a hard time getting my mind into it for some reason. Then things started to click.
squat
warmed up to 605lbs.
opener - 660lbs <- smoked. National Record.
2nd - 732lbs <- fell forward. really pissed off.
3rd - 732lbs <- high, reds. Havn't seen the video yet, it wasn't very high i dont think. I thought i had it at the time.
then i took a fourth to beat my own record.
4th - 732lbs <- LOW but did not have the strength.
1 for 4 on the squat. Very disapointing to say the least. Out for the 12 lifters in my flight, i think 2 got anything more then their openers. Could make excuses all day but the fact remained i didn't have it in me. They where calling it the "frank.s" show because the only person squating heavier then me was 308lbs.
bench
TOUCHED 315lbs in the warmup room. This has never ever ever happened. Shirt was feeling loose. I lost weight or something.
opener - 350lbs <- easy, 3 whites
2nd - 375lbs <- lost groove 3 reds
3rd - 375lbs <- im told i missed the lift right at the end. really close.
At this point i was tired and really disapointed with performance thus far.
deads.
warmed up using breifs. felt like crap. failed 505lbs in the warmup room. Put on old squat suit and made the straps really loose, tried 315lbs with it in the warmup room and feel forward.. Said screw it- and went to my 551lbs opener.
1st- 551lbs <- smoked. easy.
2nd 601lbs <- smoked. PR
3rd 625lbs <- LOL the bar went fast right till about 3 inches from lockout. Then I swear it took me 10 seconds to lock the thing out. I'm told I stuck my tounge out and started at the judge to let me have the lift. I manged to get it though - 3 whites and a 25lbs PR.
3 National Records. Was a pretty bad performance from me overall. The difference between a good day and a bad one was simply that 732lbs squat and im really beating myself up over it. I got alot of positive words from many people and ended up with the highest total under 200lbs and the 2nd highest dead of the day I beleive. Ive got alot to work on. I qualified to goto worlds in england in september too. 5 for 9 sucks, I know.

That's 1945lbs, right? That's Elite on your first time out, and with 3 national records!
I know you don't feel like you did your best, but you did and still did great EVEN missing some. Experience is going to help here. Not patronizing you, either. You don't even know what you can't do yet.
Congrats on the Elite status and qualifying for World event.

so 300kg Squat, 157.5kg Bench Press, 285kg Deadlift?
Anyway from the 660 + 350 + 625 = 1635
Very good job!
You didn't make all of your lifts no, but you smoked all of your openers, got 3 national records, qualified for the worlds, and won your class!(And I'm assuming best lifter overall too)
A 4th attempt at the squat huh? How does that work?
