I really need to focus on eating. It makes me poor because I like good foods. I'm not that tall either, so @ ~230lbs my body goes "FU$@ you! loose weight!!!" lol.

Well that would rock for me, but that's got to suck for you......
I was trying to be relatively "clean" in my approach but that's an awful lot of food for me.
Of course now that I've cut back to 2000 again, I'm having fun adjusting back the other way.
Sometimes I don't think you win either way.

people who diet always think that people who bulk have it easy, but in reality, it sucks. This coming from someone who has managed to gain 75lbs since high school. There's nothing worse than having to eat/drink more calories when you really don't feel like it. I would much rather have a growling stomach, and eat 3 times a day then eat tons of calories in 3 meals, or 5-6 smaller ones.

Your body doesnt want to do either.
Dieting is a easy compared to gaining large amount of muscle for most people, sure anyone can gain 15-20lbs of muscle in a few years, but how many can gain 50? 70lbs? not many people are dedicated enough, or they loose dedication over time when progress seems to stop (happens all the damn time too )
Whole different game that what most people are used to. But hey, I love it.. or I wouldn't be doing it! Very satisfying for me to gain 5lbs of muscle, or squat 10lbs more then last week.. Makes pain of workouts, hard to follow diet, and the whole lifestyle associated with it, worth it. Never plan on stopping.. Cant wait to see where I am at in 5 years... 10 years... 20 years etc..

The joint pain is it from a lack of flexibility or just overwork? You may want to add a day of dynamic stretching to stay mobile...once you get to my age you'll appreciate it.

Pretty sure its just from overwork.. i put on like 30lbs to my bench press in like 2 weeks.. body didnt really like that is my guess.

I am pretty happy with it, but I saw it coming. I had gotten alot stronger with DB's and rack lockouts lately so it was just a matter of time before it carried over

Speed deads
315 x 2
x 2
x 2
x 2
405 x 10 (beltless PR I think)
Front Squats
140 x 5
285 x 5
230 x 5
260 x 5
300 x 5 (HUGE PR) like 30-40lbs PR i think.
Shoulder Circut.. wide grip upright rows / side laterals
Leg extensions
stack x 10
x 10
x 10
not sure whats going on with the front squats but I wont complain.. last time I tried 300lbs for ONE i failed.. I was going for 1-2 reps but the reps just kept comming, I was really pushing myself on them. My GF and I should fight more often, then id be a pretty good lifter LOL.

I am sore today.. quads are tired.. this is rare for me!
sooo happy with those front squats now. I want to get to 405 by christmas. I think that would be a pretty decent front squat. Probably have 330 or so in me now

hahaha still sore owwwwww. Probally going to pull some 3's in the deadlift tomorrow I think hopefully around 500 x 3 but not to sure. GF frustration is gone, no more frustration workouts Maybe I should tell her shes fat!... maybe not.
I am looking surprisingly lean these days considering my weight I decided.. im not to sure where this new weight went.
