That would have been a great plan but now everyone here is going to follow it and everyone who currently benches more than 210 will be ahead of you, wtf bro?

How can they afford to sell their stuff for so cheap?
I mean $4 for a shirt?
It must have cost more than that just to print it.

I got 4 t-shirts, a sweater, a polo shirt and a towel for $38.
I am in awe.

lol i have no idea.. maybe they thought people would only buy like 1 or 2 things.

forgot to mention.. we are getting some serious strongman equipment.

real farmers walk handles
log for pressing (dont know the size of it though, i guess its fairly big)
pulling harness

and we already got a decent tire.

in the summer if I dont move, im going to build some atlas stones + platforms i think. I figure the SM training can do nothing but good.

awesome!

where were you getting the stuff from?

let me know what diameter the log is when you find out.

buy some stone molds from slater's stones. they are a little costly (probably close to 200 for both), but with 2 molds, you can make pretty much all the weights of stones you need.

yeah its going to be cool doing some SM work. I think I'll be able to get pretty good at it quickly.

i got the pulling harness from a dude who had an extra one and he threw it in when i bought some stuff from him, there are various tires behind the gym so we took the best one.

The farmers walk handles and log, there is an ex strongman here (who was pretty good) who has it in his garage and doesnt use it anymore. Its weird - 10 years ago where I live was like a mini mecca for strength spor ts. Some of the best powerlifters in the world, WSM competitors, IFBB pro bodybuilders etc. Almost all of them have moved on, and im left with their old equipment haha.

Also.. I got a new pair of knee wraps today. ATP "The wrap". They are FAR to thich for me to wrap them by myself, they are really insane.

I'm not sure about ordering from the states, shipping+brokerage will kill me.
I can't see the picture of the jesup bar (doesn't work on my iPod), does it look it has the knurling I want?

brokerage is a UPS thing.. read about nafta.

When I build my gym, hopefully next year, im planning on getting everything shiped to someone just on the other side of the border (still have to find someone LOL) I live like 30 mins away. Then I'll get a big truck and bring it back. Going to be awesome..

still a while til I can get this gym though its all just a dream for now. Id start building it now - but I got nowhere to put the equipment yet.

monolift, squat rack, deadlift platform, various bars, 50kg plates, tons of chains, bands, boards, etc. Going to be so great.

haha.. it was hard!

It was honestly much harder then the 500+lbs benches earlier in the workout.

a1 rolling dbs
a2 CG pulldowns (i used the V handle)
no rest between sets
8 sets of 10 reps each
heavy weight as possible.

The reason i think its so hard is the rolling DB presses start of more like a sloppy extension, then by the end your tris are so numb that they are more like a sloppy press.

If you dont use 5lbs dumbells, i expect you to say it was harder then you expected

No rest after you're done the pair (between finishing a2 and starting another set of a1)?

I already have NG chins planned today, supersetted with incline NG press.
It's going to be a loooot of volume.
Not that I mind that.

lol.. should have used more weight

Bench Lockout

cg bench
band: reverse blue
3 board
up to 490lbs
add shirt
up to 666lbs x 1
add green band
755lbs x 1
800lbs x 1

Dips
bw x 10
bw x 20

Pushdowns

3 sets

800lbs felt solid. The overload this movement is giving me I think is very valuable I feel.

Lost the BW for dips contest. Guy I trained with (who i bench about 100lbs more then) hit 21reps LOL.

next 2 days are rest.

I forgot to take a picture, a bar on a bench press with 800lbs on it, with only as big as 20kg plates looks really funny. Need some 50kg plates.

yeah LOL.. I fully realize it sounds ridiculous.

Smokes the triceps though, as well as gets be used to handling heavy weights. Also teaches me how to strain at the lockout.

I'm using the shirt 2x per week, so im still getting the straight weight training in as well.

I need to learn to strain at lockout. I really like Raw lifting though if that has anything to do with this convo

thats just because you haven't put in the it the time to learn the gear

I used to think the same way, my first meet was raw and I thought i would never use gear. Now I love gear, i get to use heavier weights, less strain on my joints, and more/better competition.

raw squatting just doesn't do it for me like a geared squat. Raw, the weight feels stupid light on my back, then in the hole it feels really freaking heavy - then its easy again. A geared lift - the whole damn thing is hard haha.
