...more benching tommorrow. Probally just go up to 280-285lbs and hit a few doubles/tripples without straining to much.

I am starting to really like bench pressing. Always hated it before because I tried to go to heavy with to close of a grip, with elbows tucked in to much. I limited it to once a month.. now at 2x per week, i am actually making gains.

go figure! benching more, and your bench gets better. squatting more, and your squat gets better. Who would have known?!

Anyone can get to that level of strength imo. Just train hard and eat lots. I dont feel i have great genetics for strength. But I do feel that I work harder then almost anyone while in the gym. and im not to bad with eating haha.

hmmm who would have thought .

Ive learned this mostly with rows lately.. Some sort of row 2x per workout. I should take some new back pictures, ive had to buy new shirts haha. Plus the weights ive been moving have been going waaay up. I will be doing some rowing every workout, forever after what ive learned with this.

Funny story today.. im taking this bs astonomy class this semmester..

The prof has got to be 80 years old. Doesnt walk to well, either. Great guy, but, old and seemingly frail. Hes explaining some physics and grabs a football and says to a student "as the kids say... go long".. the kid moves back about 10 feet and gets instructed to go back about 60 more. The prof absolutley nails the kid with the football, one of the hardest throws ive ever seen i think, way better then I could throw. My buddy turns to me and says "I cant wait until I get my old man strength".

My dad is 78 years old and walks with a bit of a shuffle due to nerve damage. When he was in his 40s and early fifties he could lift two large men, one in each hand. Try it sometime. He arm wrestled and I never saw him lose. He did draw with a man who was a champion arm wrestler. Until last year, he and his fellow ancient buddies bought an orchard that was played out. They would go and cut the trees and split them for their wood stoves. They would climb each others roofs and repair them! One of the guys is now over eighty and the rest are in their late seventies. By the way. my dad is still as strong as a bull, but the nerve damage affects his balance so no more climbing on the roof! I could have got his strength gene, but I got his bald gene!

Im 20 and ive already lost a fair amount of hair hah. I think its high testosterone levels .

Todays workout was 'interesting'

BB Bench (full pause + commands).
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 1
x1
x1
x1

BB rows
200 x 8230 x 8
x8
x8

Pushdowns
heavy x 8
x8
x8
x8

1 Arm cable rows
heavy x 10
x 10
x 10

Not bad workout. Benches where light, that was what I was going for. Was planning on going heavier, but im going to progress up over the next few weeks.

That really strong girl I mentioned earlier (who is smoking hot.. ) was doing cable cross overs of all things, and asked me for a 'spot' She asked me if i was dating the girl I was training with too haha. I invited her to workout with us.. we'll see.. might be more problems then its worth.

You think like me.

Not going to happen with my gf though I dont think, with another average looking girl, sure. But with this girl, no way, shes way to hot.

I am getting sooo ran down here. working 25 hours per week minimum, school for 20-30 hours per week (6 classes + labs) plus time to do projects, im busy as hell 60 hours per week. Not to mention training. I dont think its going to slow down until january.

REST DAY again

four hours of field work today, im sunburnt as hell. May go out tonight.. Cant stay out to late, heavy squats tomorrow sometime..

I am not in good shape at all right now I decided. even walking makes me cramp up and sweat, alot. I think I gained weight a little to quick here, mind you, very little fat gains that I can see. Ill probally slowly bulk up til christmas from here, then diet off 10-15lb slowly, then gain some more muscle.

I still do workout.. hah. after 2 days break.. today:

raw Squats
140 x 5
230 x 3
320 x 3
410 x 2
430 x 2
450 x 2 (rep pr maybe)
470 x 1 (2-3 inches low)

Seated rows
heavy x 10
x 10

Weight at 239lbs this morning, havnt been eating enough. Happy with the workout all the squats where on the easy side, the low 470 was a little work mind you. I didnt mean to squat it low, but my gf was calling my depth for me and I didnt hear her over the music so after I was way to low I was like 'fuck this shit' and managed a rep. Probally wont go much higher then 470 or so again until the meet.

Volume is way low now as well.
