2A BB squats 125x7
2B UL BO DB row 45x7
2C Saxon side bends 5# plates x 10
Tabatas: turkish get ups 5# 20:10 x8
DONE!
Squats were good, could have gone up a smidge. Rows suck for my left side (which is where I have scapular winging and dysfunction) but seem to be getting better. Did my mobility warm up, also. Some foam rolling and stretching and I'm off and running for the remainder of my very full day....

Monday, August 13th. 7AM until 6PM... at 7PM I plan to be well on my way to smashed beyond name recall. Any good vibes sent my way would be much appreciated.
This has been more studying than I ever have done in my life--it's incredible. However, WHEN I pass, it will have all been worth the 2200.00 and the grey hairs I now possess!
This morning: cardio intervals on the dreadmill. 30 mins.
Tonight: mullling over whether I'm lifting tonight or at oh-dark-hundred tomorrow... I'm betting on tomorrow. I'm tired today. Now I just have to get my ass in gear and pack for Chicago--the TRXXX is going with me, so I'll finally get a workout in on it!
Oh, and Travis has JPs site (and all bulletin boards/forums) blocked. Bastards. Guess I'll just have to work, then.... sigh.
I posted this question in your old log by accident (since your sig line still links to you old log). But I'll post it again:
Hey...I've always been intrigued by Bip handing out Tabata TGUs. Now, I know TGUs are really hard, but usually they me quite a while to do one rep. How many reps can you get done in a 20 second work period and how heavy is the KB you're holding. Inquiring minds want to know!
Also...good luck on your boards!!!!!! You better have some really greasy dip dish pizza when you're done!

I wondered this too ... I noticed that Jen and Samba did them a lot, but never asked before they disappeared ...

Good to know ...
So how did the exam go? When do you find out your results?

Oh, wouldn't it be nice to know? I now get to wait 8-10 weeks for my results. You'd THINK a scantron would be a little quicker....
It. Was. A. BITCH.
However, it was a bitch for everyone, and I am going to just think positive thoughts. I won't embroider "FAAD" on my white coat just yet... not to jinx myself, ya know?
Today I finally got a workout in!
(best sets listed)
1A Squats 155
1B UL BO DB row 55
2A RDLs 85
2B push ups +10
2C Saxons 5# ea
Tabatas TGUs with 6# db
DONE!
I am looking forward to catching up on everyone else's log. Greg, I WISH I woulda seen your post before my test--that would have been AWESOME, LOL!
I'm sure you passed. You're brilliant. and you made my itchiness go away, merely by telling me what to do. I didn't do it, but I don't itch anymore. So, good job!
I'd say nice UL BO DB rows, but without the "s" at the end, I think you only did the one rep at 55lbs. My mother can do one rep of whatever a UL BO DB row is. Time to step it up.
Cardio this morning: run intervals, 3 miles, 31:30 total. My ass was whupped from yesterday.
Only 1.6 lbs up from pre Chicago. Damn, did I eat a lot! Let's see.... shitty pizza, burgers and fries, potato skins, ridiculous desserts, some shot called a "cowboy cocksucker" that my gay friend suggested (hey, I was all for a blowjob, myself... but the bartender didn't know how to make one, can you believe it?) and a couple of beers. I still felt like ass the next day on my SIX THIRTY AM flight. Poor planning on my part.

Noooooo.....it's permeated Tina's log, too!!!

Not quite the vein I was talkin' about, but I've got my eyebrows up now.
You are SUCH a sicko, Jill... (takes one to call one, sez I)
Today: Run intervals and SS on tmill, some band stuff.
Then the REAL workout: hiking Mt Diablo on a so-called "moderate" trail. HA!
I wiped out in the first 0.25 miles (will post pic once I download it), it was 1680 feet of climbing in 2.4 miles, and it took over 53 minutes to get that far. If my ass (literally, my glutes) isn't sore tomorrow, I'll be shocked.
Now, back to home improvement with DH. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Oh how I miss being able to hike in mountains or hills. As you know, the fair state of Michigan is flat as hell and the highest points are usually land fills.
Your workouts sound great lately. How's your diet? Mine sucks. I'm back on the wagon starting today.

I really should try hiking again - last time I tried it, I did about 9 miles of a 15.6 mile hike (that was pretty difficult for me).
Diet's always a killer - been good over the weekend, but that's basically digging myself out of the hole made by Thursday and Friday.
