You really seem to like those videos

At least you guys wouldn't have to leave the country to visit a gym like Zach's...

It seems that way. I don't get what my province has against powerlifters. I've found one gym in Toronto, and one club in another city close by, but it's a house. It sucks where I lift, I feel like I'm training in a spa. Actually, I think there is a spa in my gym...

At least I know if I ever wanted to open up my own gym I wouldn't have too much competition.

Frank and Zach, you can be the spokespeople for my gym. Time to put a little strength in Toronto.

Except that they were purposely rotating their pelvis forward. Go to just before 2:00 and you can see her do it.

Not that it matters though, because that's the hottest video I've ever seen.

I think she does it at 2:03 or something like that. Watch her butt, and her stomach. She rotates her pelvis forward.
"anteriorly". sorry.

thanks. i love the SSB squats. i think it's what i really need to improve my squat/back strength, and to keep an arch. If you don't stay tight w/ it, it definitely makes you it's bitch.

SSB squats are great. Zercher Squats also work well with the SSB because you can hug the bar rather than having it rest on your elbows (ouch).

Workouts are lookin' good!

this ssb/saftey squat bar was sooo comfortable. definitely a cool movement, and real easy on the shoulders.

the SSB bar is the one where you hold the 2 handles and the weight is behind you, right?

nice pulling.

thanks.

it's like this.

i actually think that this is the one they have. It's got 2 handles on it.

I also tried out some GHRs on the elite bench they have. Definitely a lot more comfortable than mine. ha!

she has a stomach, and a pelvis?

on a side note, i'm pretty happy with how things are progressing. I'm only 15lbs off my best single on a deadlift, and i'm sure in a month or two, i will be at it, or surpass it. I think i'm going to start doing ssb squats weekly at chad's, maybe for reps, maybe for singles? I need to start pounding my weak points, which is tris and speed on overhead, lockouts on deadlifts (glutes, hips), and mid back/form on squats (ssb squats, more rows).

Just thought i'd put it in writing so i can hold myself to it.
