alright...
oly session went well.
lots of work w/ broomstick learning the different pulls. then we progressed to 65lbs.
eventually up to about 6 sets of 2 w/95lbs. I 3 sets of doubles on front squats after 3 of the cleans, and then 3 sets of push presses after the clean on the other 3.
Tom said that i did a good job, and i think he was kind of surprised that i was flexible enough to full squat, had a pair of oly shoes, could clean grip from the get go, and learned the clean w/some weight pretty quickly (under an hour). We are going to start w/ 95lbs next oly session. Probably work on jerks that day too.
I'm going to do some more stuff tonight b/c i didn't get a chance to do assistance work b/c of school.

Sounds like it went well! So is this going to be a weekly thing with the coach? Be careful...you may get hooked.

2-3 times a week in the mornings for oly coaching. 1 time a week for strongman. The oly lifting will involve things that will improve my strongman performance though... squats, overhead presses, etc.

Ya, I definitely have a weird (and incredibly random) taste in music.
I listen to everything from Eric Clapton, to Johnny Cash, to Huey Lewis and the News (power of love, from back to the future. gotta love it) to eminem, to tupac, to godsmack, to metallica, to disturbed, to the foo fighters, to three days grace.
I like to think of it as having an open mind.

She's sexy. Post more pics of her.
Also, why are your legs usually still fatigued three days after your workout?
That's odd.
