If you put your weight on the back leg, youll need to squeeze your glute to launch forward unless youre doing them in a gay hip-bending way.

This morning at Chad's:
Deadlifts:
315x1
335x1
355x1
365x1 (only 5lbs off my PR)
335x2
295x5 (real easy. had 7-8 in me)
Overhead (speed)
95x3x2
115x3x4
95x3
One Arm Rows: 5 or 6 sets up to 90x8
Rear Raises: 2 sets
Rolling DB Ext: 4 sets, i think
really good workout. I can see breaking my pr easily next time i pull. I had maybe 5-10 more pounds in me on my max single, so i think i'm probably the strongest i've ever been in my pulls. 405 will fall before the end of the year. Shoulders are a bit beat up feeling, so i'm taking next monday off pressing, and will just do prehab stuff, and back work.

I do need to start doing lunges. but i need to get my glutes active as well. that should help, but i need to do more work where i get independent firing of the glutes. so i need to do one legged unsupported stuff aswell

i was talking about doing things like one legged squats onto boxes. I remember when i was trying to set up a rehab program, lisa told me things like these are good. I can't remember the rationale though, but they worked before.

It's very dry humor...I had to watch it a few times before I really got into it.

The lack of training in this thread is disturbing and quite ghey.
