If you put your weight on the back leg, youll need to squeeze your glute to launch forward unless youre doing them in a gay hip-bending way.

This morning at Chad's:

Deadlifts:
315x1
335x1
355x1
365x1 (only 5lbs off my PR)
335x2
295x5 (real easy. had 7-8 in me)

Overhead (speed)
95x3x2
115x3x4
95x3

One Arm Rows: 5 or 6 sets up to 90x8
Rear Raises: 2 sets
Rolling DB Ext: 4 sets, i think

really good workout. I can see breaking my pr easily next time i pull. I had maybe 5-10 more pounds in me on my max single, so i think i'm probably the strongest i've ever been in my pulls. 405 will fall before the end of the year. Shoulders are a bit beat up feeling, so i'm taking next monday off pressing, and will just do prehab stuff, and back work.

i lowered the crossbar as far as it'll go on the yoke, and then basically do a zercher type squat with it. It feels similar to a rack pull, but a lot more stabilization because the yoke is swinging, and also more glute activation, that i need.

mainly because my english class is ghey.

We have to take photographs that have a theme to them for a project. It's basically an english class that revolves around media (poems, photography, music videos, and movies).

I'm actually supposed to be in class right now, but i left because the gheyness factor was too high.

ah, that is pretty bad. I wish I could leave my english class whenver I wanted; sitting in a room full of ayn rand/harry potter nut-swingers for 50 minutes a day isn't fun.

ayn rand itself isn't so bad. But when you're in a class that analyzes it, it blows. Same with everything else. Too much analyzing makes something ghey.

yea, you'll find that. when you get to college, you'll be able to pick out the clicks of people right away too. At my college, you can spot the art people b/c they dress in ghey hats, and other stupid clothes. Those are the people who read those books, and love indie films and shit, not b/c they're good, but b/c it's unlike what everyone else watches.

haha, we don't have any art people in my school; everyone is the same, to some extent. We have a few cliques, which I find hilarious:

Israeli Gangsters-walk around school with spiked hair, trying to sell tickets to all-age club parties. Occasionally get into a "gang fight"

MMA disciples/bros-talk about how swole they are, and how they are vicious fighters and will be the next chuck liddels.

potheads-talk about how much they smoke, then bitch when the school drug-tests them.
