Good pulling.

What's up with your parents blocking the internet? I can somewhat understand their rationale when you're in school and you need to work hard, but now, you're just waiting around at home.

Thanks everyone, hopefully another 22lbs next week!

And Mindpower: you better get back into heavy heavy lifting old man!

I went to check out a place to stay today, it was pretty clean tidy, nice place, and the person seemed really nice, she was a 2nd year med student I think, probably a good influence on my studies haha, she must study alot, my mum liked the people and the place too. I'm gonna check out 2 more places in the next few days, hopefully I'll be out soon.

PA: so I think this means you still pull 1lb more than me... haha
What's up with my parents? well I'm not sure really, my dads all anti JP fitness, anti-doing weights, he thinks I'm gonna turn into a meathead haha, I don't really care if he thinks I'm becoming a meathead, I'm gonna stay in 181 or 165lbs weight classes this year anyway, hardly "meathead" sized!

Do your parents check this site to see what you post? Now THAT would be weird.

Haha, well they surely could check what I post if they wanted to, I'm not sure they would bother though, not that I really care if they read what I post, nothing to hide here, but it would be really really weird... I just tried to check facebook, and its blocked too, I think they are just being mean!

I'm just looking sharing a place with 1-2 others. The place I looked at today had 2 students there, an older med student(maybe 21) and her younger brother, starting uni this year, same as me.

The school would have dorms, probably all taken now, but I don't want to live in a tiny arse room, with toilet, laundry and kitchen shared between a crapload of people.

sounds fun, be sure to host wild parties/bring hot girls there/have intense world of warcraft battles there, as you're not under your parents' roof anymore.

and, it's kinda funny how your parents are "kicking you out", while mine are freaking out about me leaving in 7 MONTHS.

I got to the word 'intense' and (based on the first two suggestions, being host wild parties and bring hot girls) I just assumed the next word would be orgies.
Then I saw the next words were actually 'world of warcraft battles'.
HA
That was like the assumption song, you guys ever heard that?
It was exactly like that.

Simon! Nice pulling buddy. You going to get up to 400 soon or what?

Haha, I don't actually give a crap about the nice round number. I'm just adding 10kg(22lbs) each week to my single, although I think I'll add 5kg(11lbs) the week after I make 396lbs, to make 407lbs in 2 weeks time.

-It’s looking like I’ll be in the 165lb class competing, going for the Deadlift and total records, hopefully more.
-Going to see a PL comp next weekend

A new guy showed up today, he’s 20 years old, and thought I was around there too, haha sweet(another dude thought I was 25 o_O). Anyway he’s got similar lifts as me, Benches more than me, squat and Deadlifts less, should make a good training partner.

Talked to Steve, he said not April. So I have 3 comps I can enter this year, June, September, and November. I think I’ll enter June and November for sure, possibly September. Steve also reckons I can get that Deadlift record(and some more) :p , 451lbs is the current record, I’m aiming for 495lbs @ 165lbs, a nice number, and BW co-efficient.

495 is much rounder. It's 5 plates. It's triple bodyweight, in the 165lbs class. I win.

I also found a place, and I'm moving out next weekend!

Thanks guys,

This week:

Tuesday(today): Speed Bench
Wednesday: Deadlift
Friday: Bench Press
Saturday: Go to watch PL comp
Sunday: Squat

I'll be moving out hopefully this Sunday, although if my dad wins this stock market competition(hes 3rd of 20 now), he will have to go to Sydney for a few days to pick up his grand prize, a Maserati sports car. If that happens, I might miss a training session to move my crap - dammit!, he better not win that Maserati!!

Yesterday my dad started the "drugs" thing again(protein powder and creatine = drugs), the sarcasm was intense:

Him: "So, you've been taking drugs again, out late last night buying them?"
Me: "Yeah, ofcourse, I take my drugs everyday you know"
Him: "Well don't use my credit card to buy it"
Me: "Nah, I always pay cash, don't want to leave a trail you know..."
Him: "Well, you're moving out now, not my problem, I don't give a shit."

Man, being a druggy can be pretty funny! Now, if I only had some drugs!

Although as I can't really afford it, and will be keeping to a weight class this year, I won't be back on the drugs this year anyway.

Yup.

Although I'm not so sure shes a med student anymore haha, but I think she is. She said she works at a hospital, maybe shes a doctor now, but she seemed too young, so I assumed she was working at the hospital as part of all the crap you have to do to become a doctor.

Haha, I really didn't expect that one! Here's last nights workout:

13/02/08 Wednesday
Weight: 172lbs

Deadlift
143lbs x 6
209lbs x 4
264lbs x 2
341lbs x 1
396lbs x 1 22lb PR

Speed Squats(high bar)
154lbs x 3(8 sets)

Chin-ups
BW x 8(2 sets)
BW x 6

NG Seated Cable Rows
99lbs x 12(4 sets)

Comments:
-Woohoo! Deadlift PR! This went up pretty quick too! I think I have 407-418lbs(185-190kg) in me for sure, I’ll find out next week
-Did the Speed Squats high bar so I could work on getting my elbows more forward.
-8,8,6 on the chin-ups is okay, I didn’t go for a 7th rep on the last set, I knew I wouldn’t get it. I’ll want 3 sets of 8 soon, and will work up to it in a few weeks.
-Went light on the cable rows, as I’d just done chin-ups. That was a mistake, too light for sure; I’ll stick with 118.8lbs next time I do them.
-Friday night bench pressing, as everyone will be at the meet on Saturday.
