the roots are pretty decent. do you ever listen to cody chestnutt? He's the one that sang with them on one of their songs (i think it was the seed 2.0?). I really like his cd. really mellow.

The guys im training with now seem to really like doing shirted board work.. I think this makes sense actually for breaking in a shirt. I got 365 in my katana to touch on a 2 board without even thinking about it, yet with the same weight with no board it was not near that low..

I think it has to do with the fact that you know you got to touch the board.

Sell the katana and get another shirt (either another katana, rage x, fury, f6..whatever).

inzer blasts are so shitty. ive used one, they hurt like hell to use, and give like 40lbs max.

Hah yeah those old inzer shirts suck, hard back ones yeah? all the new shirts are soft back, so they are easier to get on, don't hurt you, and they work better!

so the reason you can't use the katana in a meet is because you can't touch anything right? you could keep it for when you get stronger I guess, what size is it by the way?

and what's happening with a squat suit?

first time in teh squat suit. a little big. got it on by myself within liek a min or two(with suit slippers)

Squat

45x10 135x5 185x3 225x1 275x1
*suit on straps down belt on*
295x1 high
365x1
415x1
435x1 PR
*knee wraps on*
465x1 high
*straps up*
465x1 PR

The squat was easy the walkout and stablizing was hard. I really need to get use to that much weight on my back. If i can mid 500s is very possible. This was the first time having over 415 on my back

Thick bar speed deads
345x1 for 12 sets

Standing abs
96x10 116x10 116x10
I think r4ight now lowerback and abs are a priority.

did some of these from deficit

Awesome squatting Paul!

I hear ya on the walkouts, first time in a suit/wraps/belt today for me aswell, and with 55lbs over my raw max I felt really freaking unstable, although the squat was easy. I think something about the gear makes you a bit wobbly, but its something that goes away after a bit I'm told.

Good idea. Heavy is all in your mind... sort of. If you get used to the idea of the load, it's easier to go somewhere with it, right?

Hey Paul. Looks like you're making some really good progress with the lifting. Nice squats!

So did you graduate yet?
