Thumbs up Strong guy at my gym!

Ok, I know this thread is worthless without pics or video and everybody knows big bubba who can bench a million pounds in his basement but this is guy is really impressive. To give myself a little credabilty I have competed in powerlifting I know a good lift from crap.

This guy is about 5'9" or maybe a bit taller and weighs only around 250-260 and built like brick house, probably could've been a decent bodybuilder and has officially benched 683 in I think single ply (USPF). Tonight he did 500 for 6 smooth reps and then 565 for 2 and looked liked he had 1 more in him. This was done raw with no wrist wraps or anything and very little arch and not even a lift off though it was a bench with the rotating arms. Anyway it's quite a site to see in person and the weight looks almost cartoonish on the bar.

Gosh. The highest someone benches in my gym is like 350. The second highest is probably 300. Lol. I know.

Ive had similar things happen before.

one day this dude came into a gym i used to train at (fitness center) and he was wearing capri shorts and a sweater. I see a guy suppersetting squats and bench. he was maybe around 220-230lbs.

next thing i know he squatting 585 deep for a set of 10 and hitting 405 x 10 on the bench, without even a spot! i never saw him again after that.

where do these people come from..

I know this guy, he grew up around here. He's probably about 36-37 now. This is also Brian Siders' and Phil Phister's home town. Something in the water?
