Iran's 100% raw affiliate President Arian Salarian indicates that Iranian weightlifting legend Hosein Rezazadeh may compete next year at the 2009 100% raw World Championships. Rezazadeh, shw, is a multi-time gold medal winner in the Olympics. He currently holds the world records in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total.
Salarian: "Unfortunately we can not compet this year Becuse get visa for Iranian is very Hard. But next year sure. We are Compet with Special team. I think Hosein Rezazadeh Can Compet with us." Salarian lists Rezazadeh's best raw lifts as a 859 pound squat, 484 bench press, and 837 pound deadlift.

The car crash was August 07 and he pulled out in July 08.
Regardless, Im not saying hes clean because thats bullshit, but he hasnt been caught so hes still cleared for a drug free meet.

The rest of his team being caught means either he stopped early enough, he's using something they don't have a test for (maybe he's a guinea pig, so it wasn't offered to the rest of the team), or he actually is clean.
