Just watched the 77kg class, well, the last 10 minutes(maybe 5 lifts), lucky, just caught the end of it!
Fucking awesome! Korean guy was damn close to getting that world record! And the chinese guy lost on bodyweight! DAMN!! talk about close!
I think it was the Armenian guy, his knees pretty much touched when coming out of the hole after the clean lol.
Very impressive lifts there, those guys are freakin built too at 77kgs, wonder how tall they are haha.
Looking forward to the heavier weight classes!
Yeah that was crazy. Ive seen the Korean guy in other competitions online, hes really good. Maybe thats why Alco stays light, to win on bodyweight haha.
As far as height, a lot of 77's are about 5'5-5'7. You can be taller but you wont look nearly as jacked as the jacked ones do.
85 and 94 guys are usually about 5'8 to 5'10.

The korean dude was an underdog. The turkish guy and Li Hongli (chinese) were heavy favourites for the gold, and since the turkish guy failed early, I thought Li was gonna take it. Great effort by the Korean!
