Anybody used his 3x a week training routine yet?I saw it while browsing over at elitefts not sure what to make of it as i havent heard any results from anyone after using it.
Also as far as 3x a week goes what programs are best?My goal is to become a better powerlifter any ideas?
I ended up getting this, and while there are some good ideas in it, this is a catastrophic waste of money for the price of $30. This should honestly be a $5 e-book, or an extended article on elitefts.
See, that's why I have a hard time with some of this stuff. Not to get into another "guru" debate, but the pricing is killing me. As I get ready to release a few products, I can't imagine some of the prices.
If I release a 30-page e-report, I think that's worth like $5-10, unless it's EXTREMELY niche information. I just can't justify charging people $30 for it. Or $27 or $37 or whatever iteration.
However, if I charge substantially less than the competition, then there's a perception that my stuff is crap.

Any of you know any good plans for 3x a week i could do?I dont like using westside methods as i dont feel they work for me.Is there any other powerlifting programs available?I tried sheiko and had great gains but need to back off for a month
you should start a training log here so you can get more detailed help.
Nope they dont work anymore.I have done 5x5 when i was a beginner back in the day however i tend to only on occasions work as high as 5reps on the max effort exercise.
I seemed to of stalled on my lifts at the moment i stand at this
Deadlift 715
Squat 650
Bench 476
I think my squat need to be higher i would like it at 700lbs if possible.I have done sheiko 37,competition comp cycle and feel it has taken alot out of me i feel really over trained.
I have taken this week off as i havent had time off for about 7month
if its to expensive for you - dont buy it, from the sounds of things they are not having a real hard time selling it for $30.
Ive heard mostly positive things about it, alcoholiday on here bought it, maybe he will chime in.
I'm sure they're not. EliteFTS and Jim have such a strong following (with good reason) that many people will buy just because it's offered.
I'm not saying that it's too expensive. What I'm saying is that I at times question the value of a lot of these products. I've very happily paid several hundred dollars for information before and it's been worth every penny. Frequently I've not found this to be the case, however.

Thats one of his lower volume ones...
typically someone with your lifts would be doing more work.
If you cant handle a lower volume training, or a higher volume training, I dont think Wendlers book is going to help you.
I've said before, with lifts like those, I'm not sure this is the place to get advice. I.E., a powerlifting coach or team I would think would be more suitable.

I guess i need some professional help then however i am going to do what i do and see how far i can get.I still think i could get more weight on my lifts by myself so will carry on until i get to a point where i am totally stuck
