Default Who to Watch at the Beijing Olympics

After reading about a few athletes participating a thread seems in order.

2004 Gold Medal hammer thrower Koji Murofushi is one strong SOB. I read in training he easily cleaned 190kg with a double overhand grip (bw of 215lbs) and did the #3 Capt of Crush on his first try.

Another one I'm looking forward to is 56kg Oly lifter Hoang Anh Tuan, aong with Melanie Roach and Burgener of course.

Who else?

That hammer throw guy is a beast. A guy that trains at the same gym as me is competing in the hammer throw in beijing. Pretty cool sport, ive seen him power clean about 400lbs like nothing.

That's impressive as hell. Just doing the hammer throw is impressive in itself. I'd fall on my ass and would have ended up sending it out into the crowd. But the way he was throwing ALL weights around is insane.

Well as far as OL is concerned, the 105 and 94 classes are gonna be siiiiiiiiiiiiick.

Mutlu dropped so I have little interest in the lighter classes. 77s will be ok if Sagir Taner brings his A game.

Murofushi finished 5th in the hammer throw, with his last three being disappointing. There were some certifiable beasts competing - talk about an expression of power.

Anyone know if there were even any Americans competing? I couldn't find any listed.
