i need to buy some chains, probally cheaper for me to get those shipped 100km from here and go pick them up myself..

Never used chains but whats so fancy about buying specific chains for weightlifting? Wouldn't any old chain for a hardware store do the job? Or aren't they heavy enough or something?

you cant get chain big enough at regular hardware stores.

You could do it with hardware store chain, but you'd have to use multiple strands of chain instead of those two big strands that are pictured.
