I like Dave's realistic keys to upping your bench max quickly - get fat, take a bunch of drugs, and buy a bench shirt. I can't do the first, am scared to do the second, and won't do the third. I'm screwed.

Why can't you do the first. ANYBODY can surely get fat.

i explained my diet to a real fat powerlifter once and he called me insane, thats saying something hah.

I've gone from 160 to 219. But it took 5 years. And I did it in my 30's. I wish to god I had the discipline I have now in my younger days, I would have done it then. Oh well, better late than never. And yes, it takes bunches of food. I literallly had to increase my ability to eat food, just like lifting more weight.
